Can your even blame Orson? This was typical trauma bonding and the one at fault for her miserable love life is her monster father. Sexual abuse especially from caretaker is extremely scarring.
Orson Wells looked Like an unmade bed, he also looked disturbed. I feel bad for Rita. So many women esp in that era just wanted a happy home, and to be genuinely loved. That’s what we all want I guess.
Many of the men definitely had issues but the women weren't innocent either. The leading ladies had fame+money+beauty an intoxicating combination! They defied conventional morality but there were consequences.
Me. Wells Made A Huge Mistake. One Should Never, Play With Love Especially If Your Married. Some People Will Never Find True Love. Not Even A Portion Of Anything Special. 😢
It’s great that you remember the legendary Rita Hayworth but I had to stop watching due to too many inaccuracies. She was born in 1918, not 1928. Was she shy and sensitive or did she control all the men she was with?
All the men she married controlled her. Just like her father. That's where the pattern and cycle of abuse started. Don't believe me? Ask any psychologist or psychiatrist.
I thought Rita was absolutely mesmerizing. I don't understand how Orson Welles could think he could do better in the romance department. His huge ego and appetites made him incapable of
Basically her father was a gypsy. But they use the word Romi now to make it sound more like a heritage type of thing. Gypsies are naturals at music and dance and thievery (one's who aren't living right). It's in their blood. They originate in India. Many of them look perfectly Indian if you didn't know they are gypsies. Dar nu arata tiganca.
A victim of brutal incestual abuse with inadequate psychiatric intervention is a prime target for sustained self devaluation. Her father and Judson were the primary perpetuators of her predictable demise; life long insecurity had her incapable of engaging in a healthy relationship. Alcohol demise reeked havoc on her physicality which contributed largely to a case of early onset dementia. All of her energy was incorporated into dance perfection and she was such a tragic victim. Probable success plummet of Lady of Shanghai so enraged flamboyant Wells he lost focus in maintaining a relationship with his spouse and eventually sunk into compulsive over eating and his own career suicide. Why shouldn't Wells acknowledge his own sins?
Reasoning and speculation about someone's personal life is a thankless task. We don't know how it really was and what became the real reason for the divorce. People like Orson Welles often (if not always) put work first. They are drawn to family life only with age. Such people are suitable for a woman who will love them, will be ready not to be in the first place, will be able to provide them with the rear, deal with household issues, children, etc. And Rita herself, I think, needed a husband who could provide for her rear.
It was heartwrenching to see her having a total meltdown in the lobby of the building where I and my wife lived. I didn't even know that she lived there, but I recognized her. It's just sad all around with how many men just used and abused her. I'm sure she just wanted someone to love her for who she was and not the characters she portrayed and the woman in the posters.
Love is not a bank account.

Hey Facts Verse
Hey, what can we do for you?
@@FactsVerse Can you do a Roger Moore Video
Very tragic the way she was used by those she should have been able to trust.
For all his talent, he was often a cruel man. What he did to Marion Davis in Citizen Kane was brutal and unfair. He was no remounting hero
Yes, l always thought she was the most beautiful actress, she and Kim Novak. And, both had heartbreaking and sad lives!!! Thus the old saying " Beauty can be a curse"!? R.I.P. Rita and Kim🕊🤲🙏
"Beauty can be a curse." Perhaps. But abusive men are undoubtedly very much a curse.
Can your even blame Orson? This was typical trauma bonding and the one at fault for her miserable love life is her monster father. Sexual abuse especially from caretaker is extremely scarring.
Orson likely didn't care from start.
Stunningly beautiful
Orson Wells looked Like an unmade bed, he also looked disturbed.
I feel bad for Rita. So many women esp in that era just wanted a happy home, and to be genuinely loved.
That’s what we all want I guess.
He died obese, broke and alone. Karma!
The more of these I watch, the less respect I have for the men of that generation.
What makes you think it's generational?
Many of the men definitely had issues but the women weren't innocent either. The leading ladies had fame+money+beauty an intoxicating combination! They defied conventional morality but there were consequences.
Loved the Actress, Rita..🥰
Glad that you love Rita! What other types of videos would you like to see?
Orson I thought was a little weird not a match I’m thinking.
Isn't strange that we often treated that one badly that really care fore us?
Yeah, junk history is something sensational youtube posts specialize in.
I thought Rita was absolutely mesmerizing. I don't understand how Orson Welles could think he could do better in the romance department. His huge ego and appetites made him incapable of
Don't forget that Orson died obese, broke and alone.
I do simply not believe in the statement of Orson Welles.
In Gilda, Rita represented in many ways herself and the cruelty of men.
Welles was a very Smart Guy Ok 💯 Yes
Well. This was very depressing.
Rita was born in 1918 not 1928.
She went and got Howard to go to court and get himself together despite his mental illness. Sad she has a crazy life.
Orson was a great actor, movie star.., but he was a dreg human being.
SHE WAS THE GREAT RITA OF THE 1940/1960 CHARMING MAGNIFICENT SMILE WHAT A PITY ORSON MADE A BIG MISTAKE
Facts Verse Wasn't Orson Wells one of the suspects in the killing of the black dahlia and why? Just wondering if you have any information about this.
Yes he did
Great beautiful woman

Yes..Orson Welles was a jerk..
Facts??? How about you do some actual research of your own instead of regurgitating the lies in Leaming's bio on Rita.
Yes, he did.
That lifestyle is not worth it, if that’s what you have to do.

Yes he did.
I guess: yes
Wow, sad
Divorce Rita, must be outa your mind?
She was beautiful 😊so sad always happens women want love men want lust.
Born 1918, not 1928.
