OMG.... I miss this comedy so so bad..... I love these guys and I miss Paul McDermottes brain behind it all.....Its awesome revisiting it all. Im in tears of laughter of the originality of it.
I saw this when it was on TV and somehow totally forgot about it. That's sayin' something because I have a Pate Biscuit & Bongo book. I love them so much. The book was read on the Big Gig like all of them.
Patsy is a national treasure! I’m calling for statues - either bronze or Marble- of this great lady & her most memorable partner-in-crime, the Great Mr H.B.Bear Esq. to be commissioned & placed at GTV9 or the Swanson St Mall. Ms Biscoe would suit either medium, though Mr B. Bear would be difficult, so perhaps bronze is the better choice. Maquettes will be called for as soon as funding is in place. This should be by public subscription rather than corporate or govt grant, so expressions of interest are sought, beginning with likes or replies here. GO HUMPHHREY!
I used to sneak out of my bedroom and peek around the corner to the living room to watch The Big Gig after bed time. I was around nine years old haha. Sometimes I got caught laughing and got sent back to bed, sometimes I managed to watch the whole show!
Classic!! So what did ever happen to Glynn Nicholas? Seems he disappeared... I remember seeing him busk in Rundle Mall, Adelaide before he got on the telly...
It was great of Patsy Biscoe to be in on the joke like this. 100% respect from me. 🙂
I’ve always loved Patsy, she always seemed so nice and genuine. I love you Patsy you are part of my youth.
one of the best comedy shows ever seen on Aussie TV

I loved this & the late show, always tried to watch them as much as I could. The only thing, we had one telly.. :(

My kids are like: We only have 1TV!
So have the olds, & the lounge room, & the kitchen...
I showed them a ‘dial’ phone once... NO idea!
