This is the people's coice in drag racing. Using every brand made, lightweights to barges, there is so much variety. What's not to like. If you don't like a Stude, wait, there is a Chevy deuce coming uo, or a Ford falcon, or a Rambler American. Plus they have to be shifted. No Powerslides (Powerglide) or slush boxes. These are driver cars which is why they are on the verge of being out of control every run. NHRA can take their pro stock Chebbie show and their funny and fuel cars that can't make it to the end of the track without blowing up. These cars are run what ya brung, just hope ya brung enough! I can't wait until either the gassers come to Ohio or I come to the gassers. Great video, I could watch these cars all day.
I bought a 1953 Chevy and the plan was to turn it into a gasser, until i checked it out completely. I bought it for $600.00 dollars delivered and it is almost rust free. I was able to start it in 30 min and it had sat since 1973 when somebody replaced the starter and reversed the wires. I would love to find one that is pretty rusted so i wont be torn about cutting into it and turn the one i have into a highway cruser tow veh.
Excellent guess! It's actually a very rare Bad Boy model that they only made for 2 years. However, some goofball at some point replaced the awesome Springer front end and now it's just a plain old ordinay dime a dozen softail with Bad Boy sheet metal. It blows my mind. Kinda defeats the purpose of buying a rare Bad Boy in the first place. Of course I guess its possible that the current owner is unaware of what they really have.

We stopped and looked at the bumpside too @ 7:58
Yeah it was pretty sweet!
I can`t tell which car won.
Turn the clocks on.... or at least tell me what they ran. They did that in the sixties you know!
I don't own the track and they don't have time clocks.
