If It came out tomorrow, It would be light years away of its time as well... Enslaved are Gods
Couldn't have said it better, brother...
TRUTH
Man, I've really come to appreciate this album over time. Lot's of experimentation. Not all of it works, but most of it really does. When it does though, it's amazing!
People live without hearing this, what a pity.
How in the fucking fuck did I not know about this one?!?! Its been a decade plus since I was heavy into this band, but still all the early shit I thought I have heard!
Cool, and liking the new one too...maybe I'll end up a fan again after all!
It took me some time to understand this album
Now, I understand how unique and valuable it is!
What an opening track!
🤯 Awesome album
I like this album from the bottom of my heart!
had the privilege to see them in this phase.
holy, unequaled really pushing your thing.
they brought in a whole other potential/reality. look at the scene today.
run dmc (all three members then) were playing upstairs during this specific instance.
Damn, DMC should have stopped down and collabed. An Enslaved / DMC mix would be rad lol
Amazing album, quite ahead for the time. Progressive Viking black metal at its finest.. I can definitely breath the unearthly atmosphere of some Nordic cults. I did not put attention on this one when it came out.. I was wrong.
A master piece!
Very had to pick a fave Enslaved album as most of them are so good but this one has risen very close to the top for me … a great mix of their old black metal vibes with some deathy bits and tons of Proggy goodness and experimentation … always wondered what they may have sounded like if Kronheim had stayed in the band … the opening 2 tracks are so damn good and Floating Diversity is sooo killer
Not hard, Frost😊
FANTASTIC THEY ARE
incredible.
Fenomenal
feeling hollow inside by the ignorant, irresponsible people in my neighborhood which, in a seeming lining of the stars, ran over my innocent lil 12 week old lab puppy. The guy who hit her yelled a high or drunken obscenity at me as I shreiked my dismay.. but we are a metal team, she has her duties as my only friend to come back to, but she may not and nothing will be any different for her sweet loss and now sleep floating diversity is the memory of her already strengthening but the music is among the most emotional and raw which doesnt help if you want to keep your chin up and...wait
I'm sorry for your loss, please take care of yourself. People can be despicable.
Despite having some weak tracks this album is very nice.
wow the beginning before hell
Once they was good.
El Opeth del Black metal
Sphere of the Elements beginning has such a Megadeth vibe I wasn't sure if youtube autoplay switched to another album.
Oh my god i was thinking the exact same thing
Brilliant album🤘 and for me the only band musically anywhere near Opeth 🎸
Try Agalloch...\m/
Kvist have a neat section in their singular album that I wanna say inspired some Opeth. Also check out Elder, great Opethian keyboards on Floating World
Better than Opeth
@@gianlucatarchi Agalloch are shite.
They are Viking Opeth = Enslaved
I always thought this was their best. Better than Below The Lights even....
I am the black wizards.
Their best? Wtf!!!
@@z.s.8626 now its 2024 and its still my favorite by a wide margin.
@@Auriflamme You are ? Nice to meet you.
Where's Sigmundskvadet?

@@RicardoPestana let's not get too excited old friend!
