This is so cool! I create tie, bleach dye, and custom textile art :) love seeing others work. I've never been able to film without distracting myself from the process!
LOL just laughing at 6:47 you can't wait huh? I'd be the same way. Really cool design I like it! Dunno if they look like eyes, flashing lights or like somebody on here said fireworks. Really cool.
Ok.. At first I was like naw I’m ok with his work not showing how to band and not precise of one being able to follow him. But I decided to watch to the end….❤❤❤ cool shirt. I’m going to try to recreate minds. I have to really wing thing the bands tho.
I'll help with this answer...It definitely will work...be sure to dilute your bleach before use and let set at least 30 -45 min...some projects differ so keep your eye on your project and be sure to deactivate your bleach before rinsing out your finished shirt.
@@rashiedamon5299 cause he wants to learn how to make a steak....why the hell else would he want to know the brand of tshirt? Like asking an artist what paints they use...
I'll help you with this answer since nobody else has....most tie dye kits will come with everything you need to do several t shirts a kit including 2 dye colors in containers, rubber bands, gloves, plastic to lay for your project etc. for under 10 dollars. Now, if you are wanting to dye something choosing your own RIT DYE colors they are about 3 bucks a piece and depending where you buy the RIT DYE liquid dyes can cost up to 6 bucks each. Further, if you wish to you can splurge on the more expensive powder dyes which turn out a much better item such as Dharma Fiber Reactive Procion Dyes which price varies upon amount you purchase $5 oz to $ 8+ a pound to start which is well worth the price!!....Don't buy more than the ounce size from a retailer or you'll be paying out the a$$!! Hope this helps
How did you get white sections on both sides to match up? I thought it would be because you scrunched up both sides of the shit in your bands and the dye wouldn't bleed through very well, but the white sections seem to match up on both sides.
Do you start with a wet shirt? It’s hard to tell if that shirt was wet or dry. I’d love to try this with my grandchild however it will be a very simple as she’s not very old :-)
@@denisef1684 I had to dry my shirts so my pleats can be ironed to have sharp color edges. Some I do damp and I don’t iron my pleats for less sharp color edges. I really think people are gravitating towards a less sharp edge design more messy this year.
Nice job. My daughter does this for a living. Fulltime tie dye artist.
Really?
Congratulations . I am going to this.. 😍😍😍

Oh wow! Beautiful! I've never tie-dyed, but I have a brand new shirt that got ruined in the wash so I'm going to try it with my shirt.
I love the colors. More like galaxy than geode. Beautiful 😍

I hope u notice this🙏😊
He lists his supplies in the description for the video😊
DyStar Remazol Reactive Dyes
Good nice to see you do an instructional video about this method where you're talking through it
You should always wait at least twenty four hours for the dye to set properly.
Like leave it in its elastic band state?

Would this design be possible with bleach in a black shirt or would it not work?

gurl i thought they were making a voodoo doll during the tying part 😭
So awesome
De mis favoritas ❤️
Should I dye it dry or damp?
Damp
it reminds me of pineapple slices
gran canal, pero cómo me choca que siempre tengan el agua corriendo.........
Maravilhoso, qual tinta você usa?
it says in the description box the materials he uses
I have heard people say soak the shirt in soda ash, pls what is the purpose of that
I think it dilutes it
The soda ash helps the dye to fix to garment much better. Also get rid of any chemicals the garment was treated in factory!!
Wow!
I love yellow s bryt. I wish he had it lol

Why are you using rubber bands and not sinew?
Is your shirt starting off dry or wet ?
Most people have them wrung or spun out until barely damp, as do I, but there are some artists who prefer theirs dry. Just a preference I believe.

Doesn't work without using rubber gloves
