As my grandfather worked in stamping a Keswick and later my father worked in press maintenance Tonsley Park and I found myself a job much later when it was Mitsubishi. I think the Chrysler Australia peak was not the Valiant. I love my Valiants but the Royals , the Dodge Phoenix and so on were very superior to the local competition at the time. The Valiant had its bright spots but was only on par at best to Fords and Holdens. The lack of money and development was evident.
