I'm sorry, but I've had this discussion before on a previous post with some of your viewers.
I know it's nice when you have a fleet of old tractors making money with little depritiation, I also have a couple of older tractors, but my front line tractors, which I rely on day to day are new with warranty. I don't have the breakdowns, and even if I do, there would be a replacement or the dealer would be out to me ASAP and get me going again.

Fair play to you for making this video and showing it as most people if honest has days like this at times and you seem to had a good selection of problems all in the one day but even those with new machinery have down times with electronic issues while paying massive monthly bills. It's definitely more of a pain for you that is contracting and trying to keep others happy while tractors breakdown but always remember that once the problems are outside of the house you are lucky as problems inside normally can't be fixed with money.... Hopefully the rest of your week improves and you get some repairs done on the 3075 and that famous 6480.....

In my very limited experience with welded flywheels and old tractors, it always eventually ends in fairly catastrophic failure. Youll be going alimg grand for a while and then bang, weld fails and your flywheel is useless.

    Dear Phil,
Its a few weeks past since you posted this video. I watch your videos all the time, but often my viewing is delayed. Its blatantly transparent that on this day, you had the day of days and you didn't want to pick up the camera, to share all your goings on with us. Thank you for doing so though. Its good content, and I think you're smart enough to know that. Also what a great advertisement for Massey Ferguson!
On a serious note, thank you for your videos and content. You having a bad day and letting us in as an audience is important. It cements that parasocial bond. It lends itself to authenticity which is increasingly rare for online content. Its also amazing to see how much you've grown. I remember watching you a few years ago and by your own admission you knew noting about mechanicing or the dynamics of machinery beyond driving. Look at you now, diagnosing issues and knowing exactly what is wrong and how it needs to be fixed.
Thank you for sharing and I look forward to the Farm shop. I'm sure it will be a great success.

Here i will share our 2020 silage blue
We bought a jf900 to buy and sell sorta thing, new tines, belts, pulleys, tyres, shaft and many donekys of work done, 1:30pm, first row lifted, blower gave up, cannot shoot the grass through, so very last minuet to a contractor, who could come at the earliest at 8pm. Then when the harvester was on its way home, the tractor nh ts115a on it, lost its high box, so we where down a tractor to draw, so we borrowed a farmers lambo 100 evo, the Hydraulic pump went on it so we had to put an 8t trailer on a nh8560. Then the tractor i was driving, case maxxum 5140, lost its top working lights at the back, so i could not see anything behind me at the pit bar the brake lights and hazards, then our buckrake tractor was far too light, so we had to make a fabulous contraption: weld a frame of a tractor bale spike onto the buckrake, of which bale spike had q fit brackets for a telehandler (sanderson tl6, mighty yoke), oh the side window broke on the tele. The contractors pottinger mex 6 kept blocking due to sticky grass, sticks and a electric wire reel, but we cut-off the knotted bit and it blew out the rest of it, into the hedge so the birds can have microplastics. Next morning, 7am, the contactor driving collapsed and hit his head, so we had to get a driver for the harvester. Then the mex 6 right tyre burst, so we had to wait until fixed. Then the 6499 on the mex 6 ran out of fuel which was a pain to get bled again. My 5140 started pishing oil from the propshaft seal. Then the t6080 drawing lost all its drive. So we had to put a 30k case 956xl on the 5 mile draw. Then, the 10x was too much trouble with blockages etc, then we got another lad to lift in a landini and Pottinger mex 5, the landini lifted a whopping 2 rows, broke its fan belt. 6 acres later, the fanbelt went again. Then the rain came, and by holy god did it rain. I had no wiper. Eventually we got it lifted and that friday night was a bad day to be a pint of beer.
2nd cut was smooth then, because all we did was mow it.

Phill that's what happens when you run old kit,new kit is mega expensive yes but old kit breaking down cost money and customers at least with new kit it's covered under warranty, change every 3 years keep things fresh and under warranty, monthly finance on new kit would cover breakdown costs labour cost to replace parts ,worth looking into mate you probably know this anyway good luck phill
