- A group of Egyptians have laid their hands on a very profitable business, that doesn't need huge initial investment. The business is however quite dangerous. They raise scorpions and sell their venom to local pharmaceutical companies. Here is Adel El Mahrouky with more details.

Free handling DeathStalkers is wild regardless of having antivenom on deck. I’m guessing they also have antivenom for the Egyptian green ( Buthacus leptochelys ) or Androctonus species too hopefully.

why don't they use those thin yet really durable gloves so they don't get stung? kind of wondered why snake venom extractors also just use bare hands
the stingers can go through those but also the process is quicker by hand, lately they are slowly transitioning to machines but from what I heard it's still in infancy stage.
Only deathstalker scorpions venom is expensive not Indian red scorpions or both are same please give me reply
I think most scorpion venom can be sold but deathstalker venom is more expensive
Androctonus Australis is also very expensive for the venom yes all kinds can be sold it's just smarter to milk the ones more in demand for more money.

i think its the deathstalker scorpion (Leiurus quinquestriatus) but im not sure its a common scorpion for that region and pharma use the venom to treat pain for people who suffer from multiple sclerosis and other illness

It's most likely a scam, as the demand for scorpion venom is very little and reliable suppliers with business network and quality is very rare... and most of them are concentrated in Europe.
