Excellent review! Felt like we were sitting at the kitchen table going over our new Bible! Wow talk about a rabbit hole , looking for a study Bible and which translation is more complicated than I thought, I grew up Church of Christ and have a RSV bible from them Ive been reading since the 60s, that Bible you reviewed looks great and I think it would be great for my stepson, we’re not scholars so probably wouldn’t notice any differences between different translations within reason, thanks again I’m enjoying your channel!

I have this in the large print and i love reading it! My other study bible I love is the NLT Illustrated study bible. Both are beautiful with wonderful study notes and information!

The “left out scriptures” are always in the translation notes, so they really are not “left out”.
It’s just a matter of one knowing to look there. I never looked a footnotes or cross references. I now know how vital they are to understanding the word. Thanks for watching
Lovely! This is the 3rd Edition (Fully Revised). I have this NIV Study Bible in the dark blue hardback. I pulled it out to follow your Review. Exactly the same as your pages. I have not really read this one a lot, but I think I will now that I have pulled it out. I'll use it as a Comparison Translation in my Studies. 🤗✍🏽📚 I think you already have this in the hardback too. I thought you did a Review on the hardback. 🤔...📓

you may like the KJV full color bible from Nelson. Has color pictures, red letter and 10pt font. I had that but prefer niv/nlt translation as it is easier to read.
