Yes, though snow is cold and chilly, when it coats the land it creates a frozen wonderscape. And I love being by the water. I just feel so at home along a beach. This clip also had me remembering when I did sledding years ago, at a state park back east. It had very tall, slanted hills, that were hard to walk up. But when you went speeding super-fast down them it was worth it.

That area (Donner Pass/Truckee) on the California/Nevada border is beautiful! Ive driven through that area many times as part of my job (truck driver).
It is pretty dangerous for trucks to take interstate 80 through the pass in snowy conditions.
I envy you guys for being able to get off the main road and surround yourselves with beautiful scenery.

Cool....Literally....In Hawaiii we Only have like a Pinch of snow Atop Mauna Kea on the Big Island....We went up one Year when a bit More on the Mountain than just the tip...Mostly on the ground But that was my Onky exposure

Awesome! You were in my backyard. I live in Reno, Nevada. Glad you enjoyed Lake Tahoe! Did you get to see Emerald Bay or was the road closed? Sadly, it is often closed this time of year due to avalanche danger. You can still snowshoe up to the vista point, but it is a bit of a slog. While you enjoyed the snow, you should come in the summer. Rent a canoe, kayak, or SUP. There's lots of great hikes around the Lake as well! Been enjoying your videos. :)
