Kodak i4200 Scanner problems with damaged gear on Feed Module

U7 Error. If the Feed Module gear is defect, it can give this error because the Input Elevator will stay in the upper position instead of descending to the lower position and the Feed Module can stay in a spinning mode until you lift it up and drop it back down.
The operator's log will show this : 126 Elevator too full, feed module missing or broken. After replacing the Feed Module gear this problem was solved, but only do this after a good inspection of the roller because you might have a sensor problem too. In manual look for ID# 297 Elevator too full, feed module missing or broken.
