It might not be fast, but it'll dig the same trench a $60k excavator will, just sayin'

That trench looks to be about 2' deep, how do you think it would do digging a 4' deep trench? I have about a 400' by 4' trench to dig, and everybody thinks I'm crazy for considering buying this trencher rather than renting a larger one. The rental will easily be 2/3 the cost of buying this trencher, and that's if all goes well and I don't have to extent the rental.
It will do up to 7' with ease. It's not fast, as you can see in the video, but it beats a shovel and rake. I bought this thing 7 years ago to run another water line up a hill to my barn. It was so steep nothing else would do the job. Like you said, I decided to invest in this instead of renting or paying someone to do it and now I've used it on more jobs than I can remember here on my farm and for others. Well worth the money for me. Thanks for watching.
