bro, trying to get a hero king coin has really shown me how much I rely on my build. The arena quests really make you get good at your chosen weapon.
After beating Velkhana like 8 times with my build I thought I'd be able to just body it in the arena. Took me 2 hours of play to finally kill the thing but felt way more rewarding than just normal play to finally put it down
@@fuju5628 Thats how I felt about Zinogre lol After hunting him so many times as an event quest I felt confident but realized quickly that without health 3 I was getting away with a lot of errors

I went into the Nami arena with a greatsword, a weapon that i never played. Got it sub-7 pretty easily with only 1 cart
@@YoloDennis I'm a longsword main so fighting Zinogre without being good at foresight slash and no health 3 is a nightmare lmao
My only complaint about Event Quests is that they don't check off like they do in Rise/Sunbreak to let you know that you've done them already, especially since theres so many Quests. Not a big deal but but it's easy for me to lose track of which ones I have and haven't done
But there is no reason to do all of them as there is no need for it or any completion thing in game or steam so just do the ones that give good stuff or that you have fun with.
I can see that for sure! I also generally wish the quests had better explanations (without mods...)
Your event quest must make sense to you and your friends if you play with any. I use them for bounties and coal
My current favorite event quest is the Mew are Number One. Its a Tempered furious Ragang, for rewards you get several high tier decorations as well as Astral tickets which you use at the melder for some of the rarest decos in the game.

Didn't get all the penguins in one go at Shipwreck Camp?
I sometimes don't finish the quest right away and go fight the barioth to break up the boredom, then I go to Central Camp(7)
would be located, and drop down, right where you land is usually the last missed penguin, but there's more further down, fishing there you find 2 sushifish+
Sometimes a Marlin
I go for those three only.
I farm that barely paying attention while watching videos like this and typing this comment.😂
It's not the fastest or best way, but it's a mindless way with no need to prepare, or need anything except getting through some of the Iceborne story up into that Shipwreck Camp(12) which makes the quest quicker to finish, but it's not necessary I think, it's a quest unlocked very early on?

For armor spheres I would instead recommand going into the Guilding Lands and farming the mining spots in the putrid area and the volcano one with the skill "Geologist" at rank 3, then going at the Vaporium (x10) with the coal collected.
You'll get armor spheres, various useful tickets and a lot of healing items.
It can get boring farming the mining spots so I usually do that chilling with some music.
I would do this event quest instead for 9-10k fuel in a 15min Zinogre arena fight 😁 ua-cam.com/video/-TGkZFOtffE/v-deo.html
Also anyone spending tickets in the melder, they’re amazing for bow users as you can buy your dash juice there. 👌🏼

I low key think Arena quests are some of the best content in the game because of how much they force you to get good with your weapon of choice, and learn the monster you're up against. No health boost / divine protection / stun resist, and the monster has 2x health because it's scaled to 2 players.
Played very hit and run with GS the first time I came across him in Guiding Lands, then noticed the arena quest had level 7 slugger. Hmm...tackle does KO damage. Went to town. Failed a few times but now I could counter Zinogre in my sleep.
Yeah arena is honestly wild, I've been told they're all designed to have specific mechanics "abused"
Instead of zinogre event, i much prefer the tempered Ancient Dragon quest in the Seliana cache event quest to get deco but they require MR 100 and you are probably saving those for a future video i bet.
Exactly that mate!! All the MR100 tempered elder dragon events fall into that category too, they'll be in "end game" round ups rather than late game! My new character (in these videos) isn't even there yet anyhow haha! 💥

Biggest complaint about World/Iceborne is that they didn’t include and arena area like the old games had. Same with our farms, that was one of my favorite things about Freedom Unite

@@LightItUpDan you had 3 rows of planting, a spot for mushrooms, a bug tree that you hit with a hammer, expedition cats, mining points on multiple levels, beehives for honey, and a giant Wyverian sword you could mine for dragon weapon parts

The Yian Garuga challenge quest is also fairly easy for hero king coins. Not sure if it rotates out anymore.
From what I've seen, I haven't noticed the arena challenges rotating out, hence why there's two of those Namiele ones!
So thats why people do so much Arena Zynogre. I only really wanna do the tempered one for decos, but all I get in my SOS is the arena one.

I'll give you a hint.....arena quests are all about finding the gimmick.....they want you to abuse a specific mechanic to complete the engagement. The gear youre give is total BS....sure....but it doesnt matter once you identify the mechanic being asked of you.

Once I got to Guiding Lands and did every Special Assignment up to the Altereon fight... I got a huge feeling of "okay... what do I do, Raging Brachy and Altereon are outrageously difficult...."
So what I did.. started playing MH3U.
It feels like other than Safi, Altereon and Fatalis, the rest of Iceborne is just a grind fest, and you need to participate in the grind if you want to survive the endgame bosses.
