Hi, new subscriber here. I just came across your channel 2 days ago. Probably because it was Jan 13 😢 But today this video came up in our feed and I got super excited seeing the thumbnail because I saw HIMYM. My husband is the voice on the other side of the wall (not the guy in the chair, just the voice)!!! 😂 3:44
I've been using the Lithuania scent on myself for quite a while now. They ship pretty fast and they are not expensive as far as perfumes go. I would recommend buying it because it is really just a unique scent and a unique feeling of having the scent of a country
Lithuania was also mentioned in the critically acclaimed and best selling 2001 novel "The Corrections" by Johnathan Franzen, describing Vilnius as having "chronic coal and electricity shortages, freezing drizzle, drive-by shootings and heavy dietary reliance on horsemeat." I spent quite a bit of time in the country between 2000 and 2002 and Lithuania was nothing like how the novel described it. I guess the country was quite unkown at the time for English speakers so they could get away with saying anything
Įžymus = famous Garsus = loud (but also could mean famous depending on a contest, just like a "notable person" can also mean sort-of famous) I liked the SNL skit about Trump and Grybauskaitė talking about their haircuts
Keep up the good work. In all honesty, who ever made the campaign for Vilnius as being the "G-Spot", is spot on. Coming from a US perspective as a Lithuanian, nobody knows where it is, but we exist :).

Tom Clancy's book "commander in chief" features Lithuania heavily. It is in fact about a russian invasion of Lithuania, and American attempt to defend it. So a large part of action takes place there with lots of specific locations mentioned. I'm not a fan of Jack Rian series, but I remember liking that one. And can recommend. Although need to remember that this was published in 2015, when perception of russian might was at its peak, needless to say it reads a little different today. You can also find it on audible.

Ok. So he said that as he recalls the show provided him what to say already translated into Lithuanian. He said he remembers looking at it and thinking it didn't make much sense so he ran it by his mom (who is native Lithuanian) and she agreed it didn't make much sense.
