English Pear and Freesia is one of my favs, but I totally understand what you mean by it being a “common” scent. It is an amazing mixer with the nectarine and honey blossom or the Orange Bitters. If you are at the counter again, check out the amber and ginger lily one. It is great for winter and fall. It is an intense, and I think you will like it a lot. They brought back the blue agave and cacao in the archives collection a month or so ago. But, it was only in the UK. So, I hope it makes it to the states soon. I would love to try that one myself.

English Pear and Freesia is one of my favorites. I used the lotion too so the fragrance lasts. For Fall, I am mixing the fragrance with Velvet Rose and Oud Intense.

came dented in 2 spots, single boxed. called jo malone and they said they would sent a replacement, that was five days ago. called them today and now they say they will expedite a new shipment and probably in 3 days i will get it. by the, at best, 8 days of my wife not enjoying her 25 day calender. $500 for most folks who buy this is nothing, just a warm up gift. this is the big gift for my wife, she's never got a gift this pricey in her life. thanks jo malone....funny how when i first bought it the calender came in two days? lack of service after the sale, no matter jo is rich either way

Jo Malone smells so good but they last literally 10 min on me. Even the intense version. They are like bedtime scents which is annoying for the price so I stopped buying from the brand. Glad it works for you. ❤️
ITA!! I get max 2hrs. But they tend to linger on my clothes for a lil while. I just couldn’t justify purchasing any more especially since the prices increased.

Today I’d picked up my first Jo Malone, it’s the Black Cedarwood and Juniper. As I look to get more of the Jo Malone’s, I know they’re a little more unisex, but which ones will cooperate for a man to wear? I appreciate any suggestions 🙂

I LOOOVE Jo Malone definitely my favorite fragrance line by far. I have around 15 of their scents but my favorites are probably Blue Agava and Cacao, Mimosa and Cardamom, Wood Sage and Sea Salt, Wild Bluebell and Blackberry and Bay. Their body creams are also so good. You might have tried this combo already, but if you are looking for ways to use up the English Pear and Freesia it actually combines really nicely with Myrrh and Tonka as it tones down the sharpness of the pear a bit! hi, this is an old comment but if you have the time to reply that'd be great! i was interested in buying the myrrh and tonka cologne to use as a warmer fall/winter scent, and hadn't thought of pairing it with the english pear & freesia (which i already have and thought of it more as a spring/summer fragrance). does it actually pair well in real life? i do find the pear (or one of the other notes) to be a bit sharp on its own.
@@nebullae No problem, they really do pair nicely together!! I know what you mean about the sharp note in English Pear and Freesia. The sweet vanilla notes in Myrrh and Tonka really tone that sharp note down. At the same time, the English Pear lightens up the Myrrh and Tonka and makes it a bit more feminine-at least to my nose! Hope this helps!!

The only two that have long staying power for me are Blackberry and Bay and Red Currant and Oak, but yes the others don’t last long at all :(
