Good points, I don’t recall my examiner mentioning this but I was aware of it. I passed at the end of May and am finding it hard as I still lack confidence getting use to driving my car. I’ve just got the DVLA book ‘driving the essential skills’ to further my knowledge. A friends husband who is an instructor is also taking me for post test lessons as I want to improve my driving skills.
Gello Alison. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Confidence with come with practice. I would recommend that you start off making small local trips, maybe to a supermarket. Park far way from the entrance where you will find easy parking.
another note also to remember, if you are offered the speed awareness course, YOU (the Driver) will pay for it, i know because i know of people that have had to do this!

Hi. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. My knowledge is that if you pass the test, you will simply get points on it. It will make your insurance more expensive as well

@@dtc_uk I do think it’s a good to rule though, I’ve heard of young drivers who pass the test and think they can just do whatever they want. Obviously they get upset very quickly when they lose their license in the first day

Yes BUT even if you get one point within 2 years, they can revoke the licence. So best to pass your test and be very careful or not drive for two years

llo Maros. Firstly, Its sad to hear your little story. Unfortuntally, the courts wil not accept your story as a good reason. They only accept medical reason if it was a life threating emergency and you were on the way to the hospitial. If you are found guilty, then unfortuntally, you will have to reake your driving test again. I wish you well mate

Hello Taniii 🖐If you get points on the provisional, than it is transf to full licence but NOT revoked. So you shoukd be OK.
How many points can a driver of more than 2 years get before losing it?
Hi. Its 12 points after the 2 year but you fo have to retake the test again. You automaticly get the licence back after the ban

Hi there Khizer. The 6 points will be put on the provisional licence and then transfered to the full licence when test is passed
