For those wondering about the animation change, it’s actually intended to reflect the art style change in the Manwa which also works better for the action sequences.
animation is awful anyway, not just because it has changed, because it's awful, huh

First episode was so good in a lot of ways!! One minor detail I wish they would've shown though was Wangnan initially throwing Shinsu bombs at Viole. He has an insane resistance to Shinsu and this would've demonstrated that perfectly to anime only watchers.
Then once Wangnan ran out of Shinsu bombs, he reluctantly throws the regular bomb not thinking they would work, and if affected Viole greatly. Forcing him to have to heal himself. I know they only get so much time per episode, but this would've been a wonderful detail to highlight in my opinion

It’s interesting than Wangnan says that the people at the top of the tower are the ones who didn’t give up climbing, considering that the Family Leaders and Jahad DID give up, and forced everyone else to give up as well, by sealing the way upwards.

Can't wait for this season even though I'm up to date with the webtoon. Love Bam and his squad. Since TOG and Solo have S2's I'm crossing my fingers for GOH season 2 to get greenlit. I know the first season was botched but i think it deserves to be given another shot. It can be improved on. S2 needs to be 20-25 episodes. Need Mori back.
The only thing that kinda bothers me is the voice actor for Yuri...I liked season 1 Yuri VA the new one doesn't seems to capture her personality as great sadly. :/ though we wont really see Yuri for some time so they can change it.
