Similar happened to my 10 year old daughter in 2008 when we lived in Reno NV.
My daughter came home and told me that her teacher said they weren’t allowed to say my mom or dad anymore because it could hurt other kid’s feelings, but to just say parent or parents.
I thought maybe my daughter was confused so I went to talk with her teacher, and she confirmed what my daughter said.
I then told that teacher that the school doesn’t get to decide what my children call me.
I made arrangements to move out of that state, and by 2010 we left for good.

It is so beautiful how Christ reaches down and finds us wherever we are and brings us out of bondage. There are several types of bondages but I know yours must have been so painful: mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I was raised in pure poverty and ignorance, but Jesus found me from where I was and if the age of 17 I came to the Lord through the Billy Graham crusade when it came to Nashville Tennessee. I thank God for Billy Graham and how he used him to reach out to so many souls and how many Franklin Graham is reaching out to. Finally, I just want you to know that I'm so glad that you have been delivered by Christ Jesus just as I was. But, I realized that yours had to have been much worse than mine. Although I know it's not a competition.

How come the words "rapture" and "Bible" are not in the scriptures? I know that the word rapture comes from a Latin word. The word "Bible" was originally a Phoenician, then passed into Greek, then Latin. It means books in Greek. It was a Phoenician port city that exported papyrus, so scrolls came to be called by the name of this port, a city called BYBLOS.

It concerns me that so many Christians say the Bible doesn't influence their view of Israel. If the Bible doesn't influence your view of Israel Christian does the word of the Living God effect your view of how to live a life that is pleasing to him. this is not to say that anything Israel does is justified, did the Messiah say Israel was justified in its ways ? (Matthew 21:43)
we should not mistakenly use the Bible to justify Israel in all its action when it is the Bible that shows us Israel did many things wrong and was far from perfect when the Messiah was present in person
this is not to say we should be against Israel but rather not mistakenly think we are to justify or condone all of their actions, especially if what is done is in itself evil
furthermore we are to understand that Jerusalem is said to be attacked and conquered midway into the time of the tribulation (Luke 21:19 - 24)

@@neiland5098 Yes! Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD just as Jesus foretold. It was because the nation of Israel had rejected (except for the remnant of believing Jews - Rom. 9:27 & 11:5). I have come to understand that the Israel of the Bible & modern day Israel have nothing in common. They are not connected at all, and the modern nation is simply a politically created nation by the Zionist movement that began in the 1800's and culminated in 1948. They are not in covenant with God in any way.
The old covenant nation has been gone, and now there is a new nation, and a new covenant, since Jesus came and sacrificed Himself for our sins. Jesus is the new Israel and we (the church) are His body, the new holy nation. 1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." Only Christians are in covenant with the Lord. What a glorious truth!

the covenants have not been in effect for thousands of years, when the Messiah was present in person in Israel did he say Israel was perfect or had not kept the belief (Matthew 21:43)

Patrice, modern day Israel is not God's chosen people. Only believers in Jesus Christ are His chosen people. There is a new covenant, you can read about it in Hebrews 8:6-13 & 10:10-18. The old covenant and the nation of Israel in the Bible ended as of 70 AD. Christians are the new covenant "nation" of God. 1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." I hope you will look into what the new covenant in Christ. Start in Jeremiah 31:31-34 and then read the above passages in Hebrews. God doesn't recognize the secular state of Israel as His people, because His people are only believers. Have a blessed day!

Many of the ministers and churches that disagreed with these policies here in the USA have left and formed a new denomination. We are to preach the word, not the world. Please be clear when you are speaking about the Methodist Church there are many methodists denominations that identify Methodist that do not carry the walk day LBGTQ communities. There is the free Methodist Church that is conservative there is also the global Methodist Church

Thank you Pastor Jimmy for bringing us this information and unpacking this biblical info for us!!! I have learned so much from listening to your teaching.... I used to be worried and afraid when thinking of the end times, but through these teaching of yours God has brought me clarity and peace as I watch the words of our Lord come to life!!!! I still worry a bit for those who are lost because I am fully aware of how close we are to our Lords return, but at the same time I am excited. (I hope that makes sense).
as an individual you have to carefully consider whether this person's claims and videos are accurate, as there are many claims and ideas and we should not simply believe them because they quote parts of the Bible
we are to understand that believers are present through the time of the tribulation, that there are no verses or passages in the Scriptures which say 'believers will be rapture before the tribulation', the gathering of believers is said to occur after the tribulation (Matthew 13:29 - 30)
@@neiland5098 I respectfully disagree. Pastor Jimmy has been my pastor for years. I know him and his study/research habits... He doesn't just say something without reading, rereading, researching and more importantly praying about it.... The bible does talk about the rapture and the believers who are here are the 144 thousand sealed the two witnesses and those who come to Christ AFTER the rapture...
@@lawannacooper3709 I recommend reading the same chapter to see what is said, the 144000 are those who are sealed, then in the same chapter there is those who are said to have "come out of great tribulation"
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
(Revelation 7:14)
in other words, they had to have been in the tribulation and then in the "great" tribulation (the "great" tribulation is the second half, Matthew 24:15 - 21) to have come out of the same
and from the preceding chapter we can also see how it is said persons who are in come out of tribulation (Revelation 6:11)
ask yourself, after all these years of videos and commentaries, why is it no verses or passages can come to mind, why even as you seek for one verse or passage that there are no verses or passages which say these things
persons will be confused when those times begin, and some will then say 'did not the Scriptures say', yet they do not say these things, with even one verse or one passage
you are to consider these things carefully as an individual, why there are no verses, why believers are shown to be in the tribulation (such as in the chapter you referred to, Revelation 7), why it is said the gathering is after, not before the tribulation, (Matthew 13:29 - 30)
there will be confusion and disorientation, and there will be those who will say the Scriptures confused and misled them, yet ask, for yourself as an individual, why it is these things are not shown or said, and rather we can always see and note that it is shown believers are said to be in the tribulation and to be persecuted and killed during those times (Matthew 24:13, John 17:15, Matthew 13:29 - 30)

Isreal and Jerusalem are inner spiritual realms, they're not worldly physical places. Maybe this mistake has led to death and destruction in the physical. Rebuilding temples is also inner spiritual work. Read the bible from this perspective and it makes far more sense, its teachings should 'click' within you.

Unfortunately, in my experience most Christians have not read the Bible. Only have there pulled out verses. But very rarely have I met another Christian that have read or studied the whole Bible.
I am sad. Many of us are living on a fixed income. We are not able to pay all of you $7. a month to learn about God's word. I do believe you all should be supported by those who are able, but requiring people to pay to get in the door? What does this say to new believers?

I love the teaching that both of you give us regularly. I am a little concerned that Dr. Mark took some of his information from Yahoo News. In my opinion Yahoo news cannot be trusted in anything that they say or write. I pray that in this case they actually got it right.
