The XTU is a great camera! I have the previous version and agree wholeheartedly with your summary! I bought this camera based on your previous review and have not been disappointed. Footage looks every bit as good as my “Big Name” GoPro and I like that external mic. GoPro may have met it’s match here Dave. I was going to get an extra GoPro for Karen’s kayak. Think I will be getting this one instead along with 4 extra batteries and a couple of chargers. Great review , thanks for sharing 👍👍✌️
I agree with you as well!! You can buy a few of these for the price of a GoPro! I use two GoPro Hero 7 Blacks and really like them, but it puts a hurt on the pocketbook. I would of liked to have seen this before I bought my son his GoPro for his birthday this weekend.
Like I had mentioned I never owned or used a GoPro so I can’t compare directly but often hear GP users complain about their cameras overheating. That would be a deal breaker for me! These cameras can be charged and record at the same time using an external power pack. I have never once had one overheat and I’ve recorded over 12 hrs continuously in the past without issues. If you used an external power you could record your fishing adventures for hours at a time and never once worry about batteries or if you hit the record button or not 😁👍With they said, there’s no doubt in my mind there are things that the GP is better at than this camera (including overall video quality)
I’ve never had my GP overheat but I hear that a lot, my main issue is with batter life but doesn’t sound like there last much longer. I think the video quality that you showed looked just as good as my Hero 7s.

I see of the clones this one seems the best but without more info besides a few reviews I could not buy a new model without the bugs worked out and seeing the responses of buyers. I bought the bravo 7 lle.
Great image stabilization and sound is great with the external mic. Video quality is very good as well and love the way they overload you with accessories, the extra battery should be part of the package though like you said, great review!
That looks like a good camera for the money. They never add extra batteries or chargers because they want to keep the up front cost down, and they make more money selling them separately. You can't even get a full size spare tire with a new car.

The remote works but can only start/stop the recording or take a picture. It cannot power on and off the camera which is disappointing to me. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it 👍
Looks like a good set up, your right about the battery though they never last long enough. Love the vintage tractors Dave, Had to fix the small John deer I use on the farm yesterday, dirt in the diesel fuel causing it to shut down.
Curious question. That looks alot like the Victure 930 but with a front screen. Do the batteries for the victure fit this camera. I have had wonderful results with the victure cameras and if it uses the same batteries it could be another great buy.

Thanks for watching. Yes this camera can be used and charged at the same time which is a HUGE selling point to me. When hunting I run my action cams non-stop, sometimes up to 10-12hrs a day. Simply plug the cam into an external power pack (I use an ultra small 10,000mh) hit record, and you’re good to go all day. Not sure GoPro’s can do that, and then there’s the overheating issue that GP has. I’ve never had a cam overheat 👍 ( with that said, in a direct comparison, the GP probably has better overall footage)
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial When I go fishing, I have the gopro's filming all day while plugged into an external power source. It rarely goes smoothly. They do overheat easily and like to shut themselves off. I do like the quality of the video though.
Nice unboxing and review. It gave a really good a really good stabilization and a nice depth of field. To me it looks better image than gopro. Me, I'm using a DJI pocket 2 which does have better stabilization due to having a gimble but it's not far off. This looks a lot more durable than the pocket for a lot less money. 👍
That definitely looks like a very capable camera, and I'm looking forward to someone comparing it the a GoPro. One issue GoPros are known for is overheating and shutting down in high heat, I would like to know how this camera does in those conditions.

Hello, itvis worth it to use it in vacancy in aquapark, lasy river? Will be in Tenerife and there is hot. Also if is not ok this camera, im thinking to use it my phone samsung s10 lite with waterproof case. What it is your opinion and advise? I think .

Hello Tom! I use Pinnacle Studio. Not sure it’s the best option but it does what I need it to and I’m efficient with the software because I’ve been using it for 10+ years 👍

The low light performance is average (at best). I’m assuming a GOPRO would probably beat this camera when simply comparing low light footage?
