Little story: Only time I saw them live was when they were on tour supporting this album circa '04-'05. The Odeon in Cleveland. Their roadies got completely shitfaced and passed out somewhere. Me and my buddy helped them move their gear from the stage to their bus and trailer. They gave us some tour shirts and autographed cds for helping out. Class act.
INCREDIBLE BAND. Only happened upon them on youtube just over 3 years ago, and as I was being blown away by the song "Passing Through", I could'nt for the life of me understand how I had not heard of them before. I couldnt believe they had being going at that stage for almost 2 decades. I spent a week after work each night devouring all their albums, shaking my head at how great everything was,and in disbelief at never really hearing, reading about them before!. They have got to be the most underrated band out there. They really should be arena sized huge. They effortlessly have harnessed gothic metal, atmospheric, emotive rock, beautiful piano and acoustic balladry, and gigantic downtuned melodic monoliths, like the track "King of Errors". Anybody into anyting from I dunno, Alter Bridge, Metallica, Paradise Lost, Katonia, and just wants to hear passionate, inspired heavy rock music would love Evergrey. They've got something for everyone. I was at this show, and twas my first time seeing them, having come over from Ireland to Bloodstock with a gang of friends. Awesome.
Saw Evergrey live back in 2004 in Columbus, Ohio when they were touring with Children of Bodom and Iced Earth. Crazy to think that they're the only band of the three left standing. Classic stuff. Love em. They were awesome live and I'm glad to see that still continued on 14 years later here in this video.
What a great fuckin song 🎵!!! I have always heard of evergray I have never listened until now and I am 50 years old and this is stunning. Could be a hit single
