The chev Duramax is one of the better diesels out there, then cummins then the powerstroke which is garbage imo, Ford used the powerstroke name again to get consumers back on track with the diesels after changing them like four times in the the last 15 years, still can't get it right. The F-150 nice truck with the 5.0 in it tho.

I thought the Center gear shifter was cool but now I wish I had it on my steering wheel like the chevy. I Have a Ram. All the thing does is take up space where I could have two more cup holders. GM doesn't have the Center gear shifter. The one thing I don't understand is how a truck this nice or like the Denali does not have rear A/C vents. That should be standard. I have them in my Ram. I do love the way this truck looks. and I agree with you about the big window Big Dawg, I think all trucks have some special feature that others lack.
A truck this mean looking should have a strong exhaust note. What's is the use of having a V8 and you can't hear it. I had to put dual exhaust on my 2015 Silverado just so I can hear it rumble. Chevy did the right thing by opening up the exhaust on the 2016 Camaro. Now if they should do it on their full size V8 trucks. At lease offer it as a option.

Curtis Reid the main reason is because people will always change out their exhaust. So for the people who won't change it, they make it more quite so that people who want a comfortable riding experience with less exhaust drone, they can get that from the factory

I have always been a chevy fan cars & trucks -- they got their game-face back on, because 'Ford' was giving them a run for their money when it came to building trucks. Your title kind of threw me "2016 Silverado Z71 Off-Road" -- at first glance it looks like this truck has been lowerd...is this your personal truck? If so, you can't really consider this an off-road truck, even it could go off-road the performance would be terrible -- you need your truck to be way much higher than what I'm seeing. Don't get me wrong, it does look nice and sleek looking -- but would you take this truck off-road in the mud & rocks on the chance it might get banged up? Just a thought! Second, look in the back -- Oh man, only a child could sit back there -- And a adult would be very hard pressed trying to fit in the rear seating...I'm 6'4 250lbs theres No way in hell I could get back there. Once I'm in the front driver's seat -- well when I kick the seat back, thats it for the person in back of me -- I need all the room I can get! (LoL)! Third, the dashboard looks real cheezy -- I mean think about it for a moment a regular basic pick-up truck without some bells and whistle's runs you about $30K you would think would have this kind of dashboard. But, when you purchase a pick-up truck loaded with all the bells and whistle's ranging from $50K-$60K -- you want it to light up like "Star Trek or Star Wars" so-to-speak, not a basic odometer dashboard. And I'm not saying you paid that much, just what I see! Wait a minute, hold-up, did any one just see that when he pulled the sun-visor passenger side mirror down...did you see that black pick-up. Now that's an off-road truck with dual wheels & custom rims...I would like to see a good shot of that! Any way, back to this truck!! Forth, when the truck was first started up the exhaust system sounded like a lawn mower, which is kind of sad. I don't know about you -- when I purchase a muscle looking car or a sleek, built tough looking truck...I want to hear a sweet roaring sound-- not a lawn mower -- thats for cutting your grass with. It seems as though 'Dodge Ram' got it right and 'Ford Mustang' got it right -- the exhaust system on these two vehicle's has a sweet roaring distinctive sound thats music to my ears and every one else could hear too. When you spend $50K to $60K for a pick-up truck with all the bells and whistle's don't you want to hear it? Just a thought! Lastly, it would've been nice if we heard you talk about your truck and why you bought it -- maybe it would help a person interested in this truck buying decision. But for me sorry -- I just wasn't impress!

I love this truck, but the taillights seem boring/ugly/old. PLEASE change the taillights if anything. Too much red. This goes for the impala as well. Good front end, but terrible back end.
Ugliest truck on the market,what a shame. Chevy should get rid of the square wheel wells and cheap chrome details for starters, what an eye sore! Interior looks brutal. I use to be a Chevy guy for years but they fell way behind and lost me as a customer.
