Poland’s Bold Step in Defense The Borsuk Infantry Fighting Vehicle Takes Center Stage

Poland is finalizing a deal for up to 1,400 Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), part of its military modernization program. This new fleet will replace outdated Soviet-era BWP-1 IFVs and enhance Poland's mechanized forces. With advanced features like the ZSSW-30 unmanned turret, Spike-LR anti-tank missiles, and amphibious capabilities, the Borsuk is designed for diverse combat scenarios. The program, set to deliver vehicles by 2035, also includes specialized support variants. This strategic move strengthens Poland’s defense capabilities and aligns with NATO objectives.
