Todays video is breaking down the Distributive Property of Multiplication!
We will be breaking down 2 multiplication equations by using the distributive property.
Distributive Property is one of the properties we can use when solving multiplication to help us solve challenging problems!
To help you remember how to use the Distributive Property:
"Break the big number, share the love, and add!"
You can recognize Distributive Property by the parentheses ( ) and because it is the only property that has multiplication AND addition!
There is another way to show Distributive Property, in an array! But that will have to be a whole other video!
Next video we will be addressing Associative Property of Multiplication so you can compare the two multiplication properties!
