Weird, cricket Australia generally tries to ignore him. Must be rethinking that opening spot selection

What? Yeh they ignore him so much that they picked him in the Ashes in 2019 after the sandpaper scandal. He performed poorly and then was dropped.
Also, Cricket Australia would be feeling pretty great. Smith opening has allowed Green into the team, who pretty much won us that series against NZ. And the only game we’ve lost with Smith as opener, is the game where smith got 90n.o. So in every way, you’re just wrong.
I’d take Green in the team over Bancroft any day. But it’s crazy how you think “not being given a third chance given his poor test stats” is the same as “ignoring”
