Das waren ganz, ganz tolle Zeiten! Ich habe mir extra Urlaub genommen! :)
Einfach großartig 🙏🙏👍
And bronze medallist Zali Steggall would go on to become a member of the Australian House of Representatives maaany years later...
Jawoll. Wilde Hilde:-)
the only silver medal of all that wonderful career. only for 0"06. only for those damned 6/100!
Deborah Compagnoni should have known that in spite of her comfortable advantage after the first run she has to attack. The second course was set by the German coach, so it was no surprise that Hilde Gerg delivered such a terrific performance whereas Compagnoni just tried to avoid any major mistakes. Well deserved victory for the German girl who wasn't afraid of taking the bigger risk and won it all. 👏 🙌
