Their shows are amazing!! I've been to two of their shows and plan/hoping to go to another. tip: get as close to the stage as you can. the girls are heavenly when you are able to see them do their thing up close

If a Kpop artist or majority of all artist in the world do a world tour in america its usually in major cites/state. California , texas , florida, new york. Etcc. Definitely new york and California. Unless you live in those big cities then most likely you have to travel to see blackpink

It's so attractive and this sound and composition is unfamiliar.
As you can probably feel, the four major entertainment companies in Korea all have different musical styles. The singing style is different and the way of dancing is also different. Yg is a hipster.

You mentioned that you hoped to see them live. I saw them live with my wife in Houston (front row seats near the stage at the Toyota Center, which is an intimate NBA arena, so not a "can barely see them" stadium show). They were awesome. My wife was not a Blackpink fan before the show, but she was after the show.

I really like when groups have a different arrangement of a known song when performing live. If I had any disappointments from the KPop concerts I’ve seen it’s that they sound too much like the CD. Here the timings are deviated from what’s expected, the instruments are reworked for the band, and there’s enough imperfections to let you know it’s live.
If you liked the documentary I recommend BlackPink House from when they were still pretty new, it’s fun seeing them goof around.

I don't think I have ever experienced a group like Blackpink. It's a perfect storm of talent, personality, beauty, and charm that synergize to a degree that makes the whole so much greater than its parts. It is simply amazing to consider the luck that fell into place to form this serendipitous group. It is exceptionally rare to capture lightening in a bottle. I doubt there will be another group as magical as Blackpink either now or the future.
