QOTD: I remember those old times were it was really hard to get that yo kai you wanted. The fortunate thing is that before you can save and keep on trying. I really like these apples because it makes it much easier. Tho they should have a limit in your bag. Like 20 max. And after you run out of those apples you have to get some more.
USUM GAMER Makes me kind of mad, I remember traveling so far into the Infinite Tunnel and finding Swelterrier, the last Yokai I needed for Komashura and he didn’t befriend. If these existed it would’ve been easy mode and I could’ve had a much easier time.

QoTD: I think they're good. Since soft-resetting doesn't work anymore when attempting to befriend a certain Yo-kai like Jibanyan Liu Bei or The Last Nyanmurai because the game auto-saves RIGHT before you battle them, I can use a Forbidden Fruit to get them so you don't have to wait another day. (You can tell I'm a bit impatient when it comes to waiting for a day to pass) Besides, it's not like you HAVE to use them, using a Forbidden Fruit is totally your decision.

QOTD: I remember how hard it was to get rare yokai in the previous two games, but I feel like that's what made the experience so fun. However, I don't think they shouldn't exist, but rather have one implemented for every 'Merican Legend. That way, players can decide if they use the Forbidden Fruit on those eight or on other yokai.

Thanks for this. It took me 2 weeks in yo-kai watch busters to befriend jibanyan S with a shmoopie on my team. This is way better since you can't soft reset anymore to battle certain yo-kai.
Since save scumming is gone and the rare yokai are so hard to get, especially those that can only be gotten with passes, I think Forbidden Fruit is a great addition, especially for completetionists who struggle to fill their medallium. I really hope it comes back in the new Switch game.

QOTD: I honestly love it. Getting rare yo-kai in the older games was a pain. In YKW2 BS, I was trying to get venoct for and I kid you not about 3 days (including save scumming). So I think that this will be a great addition to the YKW series
I like how you compared Yo-Kai Watch's Forbidden Fruit with Pokemon's Master Ball, in the Thumbnail. I usually don't like Yo-Kai Watch and Pokémon comparison's but this one is funny, and cool in a way.

QOTD:Makes doing the game 100% more possible since crank a kai is enough rng however I understand why people have it for being broken but I welcome the edition since it’s not the easiest thing to get (also been waiting for this video for awhile very exciting 😂)
QOTD: So with forbidden fruit I like if it was rare like 7 in the game for some sort of lucky draw. You can only get 7 of them by doing off secure things. It should give you a challenge as well. If they are you make it unlimited make sure that is really expensive and find a harder and rarer way to do it. It is a fine item just make it rarer and harder to obtain don't make it feel like any ordinary item. But I hate daily event so I think having this item is fine just make it rarer.
QOTD: I think Forbidden Fruit is good considering they added once a day, rare to get passes to the game.
I think the only thing that is more amazing than the forbidden fruits are your videos!

I'm glad that forbidden fruit has many QR codes, so when I get later in game (just got ykw3 today) I can befriend strong S ranks
I really like the forbidden fruit because of its usefulness. For example, if you were to finally find a really rare yokai that you really need, you could use it on them and you'd finally be able to get them on your first try. For some reason it feels like befriending rates are way less than before, because I can never get some yokai.
Edit: i just remembered a time when I used the high mode of the befriending on the blaster, and fed them their favorite food, and got the best one possible for the blaster, but I didnt get the yokai.

I think forbidden fruit is amazing because if you using determinate food for a yokai and using the gun its not 100% befriending. But if you use forbidden fruit is 100% befriending.if there is some grammatical errors is because i dont know english so much.I'm italian

QOTD: I think that instead of a Master Ball-ish item, a Yo-kai Compendium should be given to you once you complete the game. This Compendium will have conditions for each Yo-kai that, once the conditions are met, guarantees that they will befriend you. For example:
"Undy likes battles that are down to the wire! Knock him out with a Yo-kai that is at critical HP levels."
And for the higher ranked Yo-kai, you would need multiple conditions (or just one really hard condition) to be fulfilled. Like:
"Toadal Dude is tough as nails, but maybe a showcase of pure strength and wit will take him down a peg! And, err, also a good meal. Feed him his top-tier favorite food, then knock him out with a Soultimate Move while he is Inspirited!"
I think that this, with the right setup, will make it so that fighting Yo-kai to befriend them will be a more active process (rather than just feeding them food and hoping for the best), and maybe incentivize/convince the player to try out new team compositions or strategies that they otherwise wouldn't consider. Deadcool could even come in and joke about it, saying it's his "All in one heroine guide!" or something.

QOTD:well I won’t lie it’s good and easy but the old ways of getting those rare yo-kai was kinda better because it made it feel that satisfaction when you obtain it but now it feels just too easy
QOTD: I feel that Forbidden Fruit is great for like say, Pioneers and Merican Legends, but I think it kind of takes the fun out of rare Yo-Kai hunts.
I'm perfectly okay with the fruit! It helps out a lot in case popularity and the blaster doesn't work!

I like the forbidden fruit a lot. I find that it is sometimes incredibly difficult to befriend a yo kai, and with this, some of the challenge is taken away, but unlike the master ball, you still have to win the fight, not taking all the fun away from it. Coming back to how hard it is to get a yo kai sometimes, I fought Benzaiten, gave her a buster curry, and got friend mode on the blaster TWICE and hit her with every single shot because I was using the shady mode, and I did not get her medal afterwards.
I feel like forbidden fruit was implemented to make up for the fact that you now have to save before a once a day fight.
QOTD: only will use it for pandle. Just like how I only use master balls for magikarp. It takes out the thrill of the luck aspect, so I’ll only use it for jokes (unless I’m just feeling frustrated and want a yo kai in post game). Though I think they are good addition to the game for people who want them.
I've gotten really lucky so far, I haven't even gotten to a Rank C Yo-kai Watch with the Male character, but I got King Deadward and even Righteous Zazel (Somehow...), Thank you Blasters T!
QOTD: I don't really know... I'd say they're good for those really difficult to befriend Yo-kai (Like the 'Merican Legendaries, for example.)
City Licker actually seems the hardest to beat out of all of the Merican Legends because once he uses Molar Immodesty, he gets a *FULL HEAL AND MASSIVE ALL STAT BOOST* and as poor Shogunyan was on the receiving end of, he hits like YW1 Orcanos with that boost.
I know I'm late, but I'm completely fine with these fruit. I hate trying over and over and over doing everything possible to befriend, I have the worst luck as is
QOTD: I think that the concept of the forbidden fruit is a good concept, but I think that:
They should be harder to get.
There should be different catergories of the forbidden fruit, like with regular food, like candy, seafood, tempura, etc.
They're already part of the "Special" category. Any food in the "Special" category has a 100% befriend rate

To me, the forbidden fruit is like a mix between a Full Restore and a Master Ball
I only like to use Forbidden Fruit on daily Yo-Kai, for example, Wibblekoma & Wobblenyan.
I like Forbidden Fruit but I think they should’ve made it have a maximum of one and everytime you use it you have to go back into BlasTers. That way it’s not like you do one run and you befriended 6 Yo-kai.

I mean if they didn't make everything that was once a day an auto save then yeah I wouldn't see why you'd need it because there wouldn't be a risk, but not only being forced to wait a day if you fail, which just getting Yokai in general is a bad rate already (just now playing 3 and finding and not getting Dazzabel, a E rank yokai, as much as I've tried is ridiculous enough) so yeah definitely needed, but if the auto save wasn't a thing then yeah I'd say not needed, but hey like in Pokémon some people don't even use the master ball and usually challenge themselves to keep to another ball, so even if it's there it's always just an option, unless you count Arceus, literally forced you to use the in game master ball against the legendary you didn't "choose" when the choice came up

QOTD: the fruits are a blessing and a curse, F O R B I D D E N!! Anyways, i think they’re good because if you’re like me trying to toss the best foods at yokai and fail at getting them. Oh look an alternative that works. No need to wast hours or even minutes on rng to kick in.
Plus the search for yokai once you rank up the watch is a pain to find. I have to weed thru rank b, c, d, just to find that one rank E yokai that I didnt bother to collect early ingame.

TLDR: the game gives you options. Thats important with YW3, no one is forcing anyone to use the forbidden fruit. You dont have to farm for them either. You like the old school style of befriending its there. Want an easy time, toss a fruit. Simple
QOTD: I think Forbidden Fruit helps alot with befriending yokai because you don't have to take a yokai out that you like just to put in a yokai with the poularity skill. Or have to spend money to get the highest tier food to befriend a yokai that you really want.
I liked Yo Kai Watch 1 but my biggest gripe was how hard it was to catch Yo Kai. It reminded me of Dragon Warrior Monsters where all you can do is shove food at the monster's face and pray they liked you by the end of the battle. I prefer Pokemon's method where you have more agency on influencing your catch rate and chance. Getting one chance to catch something sucks. I just discovered this game existed today when browsing the E-Shop so I'll check out your LP and see if the game is worth getting.

Qotd: I don't want to use it on regular yo kai or abuse them even on one day yo kai like hovernyan S and Jibanyan B but if it comes down to it, I might use it for merican legends.
As someone who doesn't own the game, they seem really good and with how hard it is to get Yo-Kai otherwise, it is best they stay. However, they should have been placed in a later/harder level first, and not like, the 3rd in the side mode.
i feel like its fine because getting all the yo-kai in this game especially the tough ones is really tough
QOTD:I have mixed feelings about fruit it’s great because they don’t let you save before the daily fight so the fruit save a lot of time and frustration but it seems less rewarding and unfair and they should have made it so you can only have a limited amount of the fruit

QOTD: I would say that it's a great edition to the Yo-kai Watch game. But, if Level-5 does use it in the future, they should make it a rare item that you can only get from a certain type of Yo-kai. Like a once a day exclusives or something.

Abdallah you can farm master balls to it’s just a rare occurrence it’s like lottery but you have to have the same number as one of your Pokémon and the tickets to get more masterballs
Please elaborate on your theory of farming them?
AbdallahSmash026 it’s not easy but you go to a lady wherever the lottery is you draw a ticket and your ticket has to match the same number as the Pokémon I think or your trainer I D and you can get extra masterballs if your number is picked there’s videos of @Verlisify showing how to do it.

I found that the same strategy can be applied to get special you kai that are hard to get unless you get a lot of clu t facts. so if I didn't know this I wouldn't have 3 Rubeus j.
Also DO NOT USE THE FORTUNE AURAS!!!! There’s two auras that say “Bountiful Treasure” I have gotten TEN CLU-T-FACTS in ONE RUN with those!!!
QOTD I think over all a lot of things are Broken. I’m on chapter 4 and have two snartles at level 40 and my meopatra as-well as the Hinix at level 63

I think Forbidden Fruit is kind of broken. And because it is a fruit, it should mostly work on Yo-Kai that like fruit. Plus, they should have other "Forbidden Foods", such as Forbidden Juice for Yo-Kai that like juice, or Forbidden Meat for Yo-Kai that like meat, etc. However, it still is pretty cool.
Edit: Another thought is that Yo-Kai who DON'T like fruit and were given Forbidden Fruit, it would be harder to befriend them.
What's the point of adding more of the same thing if they have the same result? 🤔
@@AbdallahSmash I mean that the Yo-Kai who like other things like meat shouldn't like Forbidden Fruit. Yes, it would be more money to spend, but... I don't know. That's just how I see it. 😐
But, you could never tell what the fruit contains. Forbidden, colorful things are usually very magical in fantasy. It could probably have the best taste of juices and best taste of hamburgers in their depending on what it is given too.
