One Tin Soldier - The Original Caste - Instrumental Ukulele Cover by Barry Prudhomme

One Tin Soldier was written by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter, and was first recorded by the Canadian group The Original Caste (consisting of Dixie Lee Innes, Bruce Innes, Graham Bruce, Joseph Lavender & Bliss Mackie) in 1969. The song reached No.6 on Canada's RPM chart No,1 on Toronto's CHUM Am radio station, and No.34 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
A 1971 cover of the song was a hit in the U.S. for Jinx Dawson, lead vocalist of the group Coven, whose recording was featured in the film Billy Jack.
I played the instrumental cover on my Graziano baritone ukulele through a Boss ME25 pedal and a Strymon Big Sky reverb pedal into my Fishman LoudBox amplifier.
