Fantastic program! Now I see Blue Corn Mush is what we call "atole azul" in Mexican Spanish.
This was a daily option when I used to work at an Albuquerque hospital about 25 years ago. Soooo good.
Dr. Francis is just as inspiring and as excited about science in person as he is online! I had the chance to meet him at AISES 2023. Thank you for your passion!! Keep it coming!
Lee, I really enjoyed this!!! Please consider bringing your audience along as you or someone else cooks some of the things you are talking about. I would love it and I’m sure others would too. Again, I really enjoyed the vid and have subscribed 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I would totally love it, too!
Loving the illustrations!
I was introduced to Atole a few years ago, and I fell in love with it, it really is a super food!
The Last Thing my Mother Wanted when she was getting ready to fly to the creator was ATOLE
Now I have it in my pantry . I did not know about the ash. Now I will add it.
A great blend of a historical socio-cultural perspective & modern science...😶🌫
I want some! I'm going to have to make it. And it's gluten free!!!

is it ok to use any wood for ash?
Started out like a really bad porn film from the 70's. Used all my hardwood ash in the garden, damn. Need to save a few quarts next year! Good information.
