Damn it’s sad seeing how some people can make it big to just lose it all that quick and that badly.
@Thiago Stafford he’s not talking about rebound
@Thiago Stafford LMAOOO
But I gotta say, the dude really killed it on the court and slaughtered his opponents.
Sounds like the dude just got lazy. Went to the NBA. Thought he was made. Went to the club and became a gangster over a couple months. I’m assuming he wasn’t practicing everyday like well known players.
Thiago Stafford lol reading comprehension bro
this video was really well edited and i think we can all agree its one of the best one yet. love the police movie style
Yeah ong
@Joshua is cool nah he didn’t have an editor he said that in his community post
We need flight to react to this!
i agree i love the new editing
Hi
That really sucks for the woman that got caught up in that shooting and passed away. RIP
Hi didn't wont 2 kill her never, this IS mistake for each others
This man really chose to be a gangster over an NBA pro….mind blown🤦🏾♀️
Has was a gangster way before the nba …. Him and Gilbert arenas dam near had a duel in the locker room one time they both had guns on them in the locker room lol
Dude was not a star lol he was a role player at best
@@zacharypeery4082 I think anyone on earth would prefer being a role player on an NBA roster and living a happy life over getting involved in gangs and killing people though
@@Carbine64 indeed, dude was still no star though.
He’s what you call a N****a
As a teen who lives in the hood it makes you so goofy to join a gang past the age of 17 and on top of that he made it out his projects 🤦🏿♂
Bro working backwards
past 17 come on you should never join a gang.. just makes you a flunky that does what someone tells you///
@@theabhominal8131 past 17 you a grown man who shouldn’t easily influenced 17 and Under are children they will make bad decisions if you can’t understand idk what to say
Na anything after 15 is too late at that point that persons character is to be a follower
@@Cartwright21215 we need to stop saying they made a mistake they know what they are doing it aint a mistake.. we need to hold them accountable no matter what we hold they hand and say you made a mistake if you join a gang you just a dumb ass that dont want to work for what you want and want to prey on people to get it and then not be held accountable for it..at 12 you know right from wrong stop saying they are young so what... they are not babies..
Life is all about the decisions you make. Rip to the innocent girl
4:00 - I don't believe for one minute that his family rejected him. I think he was now seen as an average joe and probably told to get a job. His neighbors probably no longer treated him like a celebrity either. Whatever the case, he made poor decisions and is now paying for them.
I believe so too. Maybe the fact that they wanted to hold him accountable was seen by him as rejection. If, for example, I tell my homeless cousin that he can live with me as long as he promises to find a job and stop doing drugs, and he does nothing but drugs and never searches for a job.... once i tell him to leave.... Did i reject him, or did he reject an opportunity for a better life?
I agree.
@@errepe3990 EXACTLY
If his family did reject him, it was probably cause they took a loan out and was expecting Crittenton to pay them back or something like that.
Dude was ready to make millions of dollars if he didn't get caught up with darkness.
#1 thing, an athlete from a poverty stricken area does is give back to the family.
He completely let his family down. It was his dream, it was probably his whole families dream..
I doubt they rejected him tho, but they probably didn't help him or talk to him for a few weeks or something
What's awesome to know from this unfortunate tale is how Gilbert Arenas, regularly visits him in Prison and has supported his family's financial payments. 👍👍
I also find it hard to believe that everyone in his family rejected him, I can believe that he was told that he needed to change his lifestyle because of his fall from grace and he made very poor decisions, its like he was determined to be a failure, too sad !
It's sad when you make it only to lose everything, Getting caught up with the wrong crowd and being under their influence of what others think of you. Knowing he now regret it but it's to late.
Thats why u need discipline in life or else u Gona fall on your face the choices we make usually makes us or breaks us...
Not gonna lie, I would watch any video you upload. Your story telling is great not to mention your video's. Thanks for all the hard work you do to keep us all entertained. Thank you.
Fr I wish he made history videos
Don't pat him on the back too much...
He took some liberties with this story, reporting inaccurate information in the Gilbert Arenas dispute....
That's me right now 😄 ✌🏾🇿🇦
🤣🤣 he told a few parts of this story wrong tho 🤣🤣
Bro thought he was gonna get feedback💀
Sad to see these good people get reformed into a monster. Hope things get better for everyone including rebound
Agreed
They aren't good ... Their true nature is showing.
Bruh I agree norma shut up

And I love the way you showed respect to the young lady at the end 🙏
THE PRODUCTION IS OUT OF THIS WORLD 🔥🔥🔥
This man has the best videos. Favorite person to watch on UA-cam.
Great channel💯
It's this guy and Nonstop Sports and Dude Perfect. Those are the Sports channels on UA-cam to watch.
He is Not Grateful Enough For What God Gives Him To Be A NBA STAR🤦🏾♂️
Agreed.
Ikr, deserves to be in prision
Was blinded of too much blessings
I’d trade it all to had made it
So very sad for the victim & her love ones. I pray this young man has a new life in prison & when he gets out. So many young people make bad choices, I just pray that they would learn from the mistakes of others & lead better lives.
Bad decisions in life can hurt you in life. My dude hit straight rock bottom. I remember when he got drafted.
Anyone who leaves college for money then joins a gang kinda has it coming.
That's true 👁️
To be honest I didn't know what happened to him. Wow what the heck was I going through. I either forgot about this or never heard of it.
Dang, great editing on this one, Rebound. Really great job, seemed like a documentary series

R.I.P to the woman who died 🕊
Stupid is as stupid does !
It’s sad because it doesn’t matter how amazing your life is it can change in a blink of an eye
But I think you are missing the point here Froggy. There is a difference between an individual's life being turned upside down due to circumstances beyond their control and an individual's life being turned upside down due to bad decisions they make. I get what you are saying in a general sense but in this particular case Javaris Crittenton ruined his own life the moment he chose to throw away a promising career and future to be in a gang.
How is nobody talking about how well edited this video is. The little animation in the locker room is awesome
Yooooo Rebound’s editing really kicked it up a major notch! This was amazing.
The moral of this story is: Be nice to people on your way up, as you might need them on your way down.
......or dont join a gang.
@@kocojack Yup, there's no happy ending when you join a gang, plus you're constantly looking over your shoulder because you have a target on your back
I loved to watch Gilbert Arenas growing up, but then I realize he’s the most forgotten superstar in nba history, and it was all because of the gun incident and how bad his legs were after getting hit by Gerald Wallace.
OJ Mayo

Femboy wizards fans still seething and making excuses for the failed Gagent Zero years. Sad to see it

I hope dude gets his life together when he gets out, sucks to see someone go down like this
What about the sister he killed??
Nah... lock him up
Keep him locked up
I don't really remember his name but I do remember the incident in the locker room because I'm from DC. Dude was determined to be a failure. He got what he wanted. He still playing ball. Most of the best ball players are in prison.
Yo, I'm so happy Rebound is posting again, he is such a legend!!! These first class edits kept me to the end.💪👏👏
He's back! Was concerned about you since your last video was a while ago.. glad to see you're doing well, Rebound!
same!
He was very young and for whatever reason didn't have any guidance. He blew it. These guys need to do a case study on careers like Derrick Jeter for some guidance.
Your transitions in the outros to other videos you've uploaded get me every single time. It's to the point where I don't watch one of your videos unless I know I have like an hour to kill lmao.
It’s insane how one bad day can change someone’s life so much
It wasnt one bad day, it was the combination of years of bad choices
so sad man, so sad. his dreams went down just like that. also, its good to see you back rebound. missed all your great content man. peace.
so sad for him? the only person I feel sad about is the young lady who had the bad luck to be in between him and his ego, I believe she had dreams too!!
@@vassoanzaoui8530 yeah but like he had big dreams as well and they all came crumbling down. It would be hard for her but also hard for him. Gotta look at both sides of the story
@@vassoanzaoui8530 ya'll women always quick to defend one another on social media but not in real life gtfoh... most of ya'll don't even realize that some of these men ya'll laying with be sketchy ,murderers, violent and all sorts of s××t
For a person who does well for himself financially I know what it's like to not have real support because everyone think you're the backbone....so I can only imagine being young, famous, rich, and confused .... sad.... he'll be back home safe hopefully
we can't say the same about the lady who died, can't we?
@@vassoanzaoui8530 That's unfortunate but he was the problem so I'm addressing the problem
@@rapidreliable6177 I understand your comment and I'm addressing the result of his mind set, have a good one
It's not easy losing family support... if it gets to that then perhaps one really messed themselves up or someone got it twisted what the meaning of support really is. From 19-23 things really nosedived for him. Bad company corrupts good morals. He was safer around his family, joined the NBA and got the fame n money n lifestyle. He wasnt principled n desired a lifestyle that was the death of everything good he had going. Vengeance belongs to God. Let the systems handle it. The revenge mission was the last straw. A symptom of an underlying problem inside of him.
I pray he changes on the inside. It's a long time to reflect and hopefully learn.
@Rapid Reliable I have zero remorse for Javaris. Dude had it all, and threw it all away over people who couldn't give two fucks about him. This is what can happen with a fatherless upbringing.
Love these style of vids from u
wow, your editing skills have gotten so much better! keep up the good work!
Those gangsters were bad influence but it's still his fault he decided to hang out with them. And next his family also made big mistake he is their son and they should support him no matter what. He made mistake they are the one who should have helped him to make it right. Their response "You are failure" made him mad and angry and after he got robbed he hasn't got anyone to talk to, to have advice and to help him control his anger. So his anger and thought of getting revenge led him to become a murderer. I hope he learned his lesson about getting revenge to someone. And I hope his family feel ashamed of their selves cuz they refused to help their son fix his mistake he made by deciding to hang out with those gangsters.
Sounds to me like the family was upset they lost their meal ticket
Nah, I don't blame the family.
They had sacrificed a lot too for him to get there, only for him to throw it all away.
Do u think the family havent called him to order when they first noticed he was going astray? He felt he knew what he was doing and no one can talk to him bcos he had money, so went things went south, the family too have the right to keep him out
When you are legally an adult...the only person u can blame is urself..period.People have been through worse.
@@MrChukfo true that

How about the woman who was killed and her family because he was famous don't make her life and family not important
I don't feel sorry him
Hey everyone! remember Houston's Phi Slama Jama!?!?! in the early 80's??
You know Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler.. right?
Well there was a third star on the team and also had NBA potential, but that was all lost when he made the mistake to bring a loaded gun to practice, his name was Benny Anders, who grew up playing basketball as a kid with Karl Malone in Louisiana.
Unlike Crittenton, Anders became a recluse and lived a quiet life.. not killing anyone....

You could actually make legitament documentarys about the NBA. Keep up the good work man! 😁
This is why people keep on track, someone as good as him could turn into a gangster just by meeting them accidently, and also imagine getting rejected by your own family cuz you failed... alot i mean they're still a family member they should've help him instead of kicking him like that bruh. Who know at that point he could open his own restaurant and stuff right?
he knew the deal no accident he wanted that life and should spend the rest of his in the hole at the least..
If his family had accepted and taken him back him and helped him get back on the right track, things could’ve been different. Bro was still so young and had his whole life ahead of him
His mindset kicked him

There may be more to it. Was he humble? Family usually don't turn on their own just so.
