I'm jumping back into editing and I certainly challenged myself with this beast of a video! This is the longest AMV (or ASMV) I've ever edited and I know it's way longer than you'd normally expect but I wanted to make sure that my tribute to the legendary Madara Uchiha did him justice, which meant trying to include every single aspect of him that fans love. These aspects were each explored in the three parts of the video- as indicated by the three different songs used.
The first part explores the legend of Madara and his backstory, focusing on his development as a person right up until his famous battle with Hashirama Senju. The second part focuses on how badass and savage he is, exploring his frightening demeanour and his assault during The Fourth Great Ninja War. And then everything comes full-circle in the third part as we explore the more sentimental side of Madara and reflect on his decisions and motivations as he exchanges final words with Hashirama before his death. So I know the video is long but I realized I couldn't cut anything out without sacrificing an important aspect of Madara's character and I wanted this to be the ultimate tribute. I even wanted to include small details such as Madara's aversion to having people standing behind him due to his trust issues and fears of being betrayed.

What makes Madara the strongest shinobi to ever live isnt his sheer strength, his visual prowess or his battle iq, its his will. His will to keep getting stronger, stronger and stronger until he achieves his dream. Even someone like Hashirama couldn't stop him in his pursuit and In the end Madara did achieve his dream, be it for a brief period.
Truly a remarkable character.

Can you imagine a dead man is standing before an entire battalion and they don't have the guts to charge forward and attack. Truely said, the name Madra alone is power... His presence is enough to terrify the world...

It was when he heard tobirama talk about him and the uchiha, when he learned that even after all that they still werent trusted and from that he predicted the oppression uchiha would face from the village, so he went to warn his clan and they called him warmonger and cast him out as a traitor.
That is when he finally lost it.

But tobirama just went NAH cant trust the uchiha and madara. Madara was supposed to be the Hokage originaly too but people wanted Hashirama and Madara told Hashirama that after him Tobirama would become second Hokage and then the uchiha would be doomed. (and them everything happened as madara predicted with tobirama making them police and moving them to the outskirts of konoha making them outcasts in their own home wich led to their coup and konoha massacring the clan using Itachi.)

Imma jump in here for a sec because I feel a need to defend and explain Tobirama since he gets way too much flak when he was actually the most level-headed and suitable Hokage.
Hashirama was gonna make Madara Hokage AGAINST the will of the people. The people didn’t want Madara- he wasn’t likeable, he was very extreme and battle-hungry even after the village was built, and he was naturally introverted and withdrawn, so it’s obvious why people would prefer Hashirama (who was more obviously warm-hearted and endearing) and want him as a leader. All Tobirama did was tell Hashirama that the village needed to be run democratically, which is totally right. Yay democracy and all that! If Madara had been Hokage it would’ve been a disaster- not only because the people wouldn’t have been happy with essentially a dictatorship but also because he’s so damn mentally unstable.
So what does Madara go and do? He goes and tries to convince the Uchiha to start another war when they’ve only just settled in the village and achieved peace- he also threatened the Hidden Stone with all-out war during peace time as well! So it’s no surprise they shunned him and accused him of being power-hungry and only wanting to fight (we all know Madara loves fighting above nearly everything else).
Then Madara attacks the damn village and tries to destroy it- thus proving just how dangerous and unstable he was all along. People can’t pin that on Tobirama. So Tobirama did some looking into the Uchiha when he was Hokage and discovered that they literally have something wrong with their brains that makes them mentally unstable and it’s linked to the Sharingan. The clan is dangerous. But instead of killing or exiling them, Tobirama tried to settle things with them and keep his promise to Hashirama. He gave the Uchiha the police force NOT to oppress them but to try and improve their image since the other clans were scared of the Uchiha because of Madara. Tobirama was giving them a chance to prove themselves to the rest of the village. Tobirama then even had an Uchiha as a student.
Tobirama didn’t cause any direct discrimination to the Uchiha. The Uchiha were actually treated rather well until after the Nine Tails attack (which was long after Tobirama was dead). The Uchiha lived throughout the village, were high-ranking, and the wife of the clan’s leader (Sasuke’s mom) was even friends with the wife of the Hokage (Naruto’s mom). After the Nine Tails attack, suspicion fell on the Uchiha- why? Because MADARA had attacked the village controlling the Nine Tails before so everyone assumed it must’ve been an Uchiha again (and they were right since it was Obito). After that, the clan was forced to move to the outskirts of the village and then they were marginalised, etc.
Tobirama didn’t have much to do with it, he just gets the blame. You wanna know who really is to blame? Madara. It’s only because of his actions that the Uchiha were feared and shunned. Because he was power-hungry, mentally unstable, and so extreme in his actions, he forever tainted the Uchiha clan. He attacked the village once himself and then later caused Obito to attack the village- those two events are what doomed the Uchiha and both were caused by Madara. You can also point the finger at Black Zetsu if you really want. Most people blame Tobirama but he’s the last one who should be blamed. I love Madara, but he’s the one who caused the Uchiha clan all the trouble...

Hashirama said the village is family but what kind of family? Look at the villagers, they hate madara, deny his effort, his contribution, blame him for something so cruel that he didn't do (kill izuna for power). Why can't Hashirama see that? He had the chance to bring madara back from hatred and darkest, but he lost it.
They hated Madara was many reasons, mainly cuz they didn't understand him including the Uchiha. What began the alienation was Hashirama's plan to install Madara as the first Hokage to try and make up Madara's losses to create their dream. Tobirama said otherwise, that the villagers would only want Hashirama and Madara didn't really have a chance realistically.
This began Madara's paranoia that the village government would always discriminate against the Uchiha because of their reputation and differences before. The other Uchiha didn't believe him. They assumed that Madara was simply still angry over his perceived defeat against the Senju, Madara was then treated as an outcast, especially with his declaration of war basically against Hashirama, and became a rogue ninja.
And i still watch this until now. I can't stop, I get goosebumps every time I watch this.

This is really underrated
Hashirama is a pacifist only when things go his way. If you think about it for a bit, he really is naive, like Madara says. It wasn't he who lost his last living brother, and it wasn't his clan who was discriminated against by the village thanks to its leaders' direction. His true selfish desire is to keep Madara trapped in a village where everyone hated him, making him life a life he is dissatisfied with, keeping him hostage just so they can play pretend like the old days. and then he has the audacity to say "I know you no longer have any brothers left, but I want you to think of everyone in the village as your brothers." Why? Just because you created your utopian society and force everyone to go by what you say? Because you use your position as the strongest shinobi to keep them at bay? What a stuck-up man. Also, since when is putting the village above all else really the best thing? "I'd kill anyone who threatens the village, be they a friend, a sibling, or even my own child." Pretty sure this is the same concept behind Itachi (the "clan or village" idea), but something about it rubs me the wrong way. Like, Hashirama created the village and he just has so much pride that if anyone tries to change it to suit a need that doesn't align with Hashirama's own, he will go against them. At this time, the village was still something that only Hashirama and the Senju had power in. So 'threatening the village' was literally just threatening Hashirama's hold on power. So why couldn't he understand the Uchiha's dissatisfaction with it? He will literally battle Madara on everything they disagree on, and call it a threat. I'd hate to be his wife, honestly, if he's gonna act like that. And I understand that Hashirama did what was best for humankind by creating the village, ending all the senseless wars and all. But I'm just saying that I think he let the good thing he did cloud his judgement and give him a bit of a big head, and that he was naive in the sense that he thought all clans were just gonna be happy with it, especially the Uchiha, who battled with his clan for eons.
Right on point mate. The concept of a Village is trash to begin with, it puts a bunch of strangers as something more important than one's flesh and blood! Madara was right all along, not that this is surprising, since everyone else is extremely dumb. At the end of the day, his only flaw was his inflated ego that blinded him of his own situation. As such, he had the right thought process but reached the wrong conclusion!
This is mad Hashirama hate that is stupid.
Not everyone hated Madara, but the main dislike was from the old heads, and even his own clan somewhat. Too much shit to explain why but basically cuz of his crazy EOTM plan, him trying to convince Uchihas but didn't bring valid proof etc.
Hashirama loved Madara, and respected the Uchiha, even Madara states this. But Madara didn't trust the other Senju, only Hashirama.
Hashirama didn't force shit, in-fact he wanted Madara to be Hokage. Hashirama was voted democratically over Madara, and even Uchiha voted for Hashirama as well.
Madara quite literally pulled up with the Nine Tails wtf did you think he was gonna do. Like Hashi said "he was gonna destroy their dreams."
It's crazy you think Hashirama would just fold if he lost Tobirama, and his clan was hated like Uchiha. That is not how Hashirama perceived the world like, and would rather change that opinion.
The Uchiha were quite satisfied, but it changed as time went on. Danzo and the other old heads didn't change Tobirama's rules for the Uchiha which were outdated and was their job to change, so not Tobirama;s fault. Well... there was still some fault to Tobirama cuz he was scared of another Madara emerging.
