Indochicyon has the similar issue that Indolycan has, where their ingredient is more VIABLE in comparison. Indochicyon's ingredient, Indoraptor, can bypass while Indochicyon cannot, Indolycan's ingredient, Aenocyonyx, can break shield while Indolycan cannot, oh and Indolycan is very weak to *BLEED* , the only way for it to get rid of the bleed is by using cloak of rage (or just switch out I guess), in which not only buff your damage, but also *THE OPPONENT* , making this extremely situational, Aenocyonyx did not suffer that much of a issue since it has decent DoT resistance, something Indolycan *LACKS* , while Indochicyon is extremely devastating to anything that doesn't bypass its dodge/cloak abilities, but unfortunately, Indoraptor has *PRECISION* attack, namely Cautious Impact, which not only bypass the dodge, it also gives Indoraptor to dodge, and there's almost *NOTHING* Indochicyon can do when Indoraptor has its dodge active, that is especially true when Indoraptor uses Prolonged Sidesteps, which 100% dodge 66.7% damage for a few turns, but even then, it's more than enough to drop Indochicyon in 1v1 showdown Like, I have runned into multiple simulation of Indoraptor vs Indochicyon (same level, no upgrades), the moment Indoraptor uses Prolonged Sidesteps, Indoraptor will pretty much *ALWAYS WINS* against Indochicyon, unless the Indochicyon switch out
I recently unlocked indolycan and im hostly disappointed. It losses its sheald breaking ability for little gain. If it had at least precision as its new default that trade off would have been fine but it gains basically nothing instead. Its no longer has bleed which makes the loss of breaking shealds even worse. Hope it gets buffed because i feel like i waisted Time and resources getting it.

Lets just say that they actually pay attention to the components of this hybrid and then take something like indominus rex’s instant armor piercing rampage and apply it to indochycion as something like uh, instant evasive rampage just that it bypass shield, that with every single move taking other components

For a dino where people who need to unlock the component for the dino via a region does not need this unnecessary strength, not everyone who lives where the epic is has the dna for this thing, not every apex needs to involve itself in the meta or longer lasting, this is good as it is to solidify a kill and die
@@Shartds if you grind for a year (as a ftp) getting the coins and dna for this dino and you unlock it just for it to be adequate at "killing a Dino" youd be pretty disappointed id think. im pretty sure any legendary or unique is good at solidifying a kill and its a hell of a lot easier to obtain
Coming from me liking Indoraptor sense the beginning of when the game came out, it's rather disappointing and dumb that it has one of the coolest designs of essentially all the Apex's, but then it's just good enough for being an Apex, and I've been saying this to myself that realistically these continental Apex's should be at least viable, do to the fact not a lot of people will be able to really level them up or even unlock them do to the fact the epics that go into the legenadaries are dependent on where you live and where you are, meaning for a lot of people it will be hard to even really try to go for them, and yes the argument can be made that Indoraptor is rather easier to unlock and level for being one of the ingredients which still takes a ton of Velociraptor sense you also have to do fuses for Indominus Rex which also has an Apex Hybrid, it doesn't change the fact that you need Rinchenia, to then get it to level 15 and then fuse for it's legendary hybrid to then get that to level 25 to only then have it ready to fuse for Indochicyon, which again depending on where you live can make it very difficult to even try and do that, like I definitely feel that both the continental Apex's we have right now need to get proper buffs just so it's actually worth the trouble getting them
In the chance it gets buffed, I don’t even know what to do to it. It’s flawed purely due to illusion. Basic Cloak doesn’t cut it when everything removes or bypasses.
@jayke5694 The OE is bad, too. It's easily abused in the counter attacker and swap meta. If it's to have an attacking OE, it needs to be punishing to opponents who want to swap out.
@jayke5694 Agreed. Lure is a direct downgrade to Bait. I don't understand its use for pvp. Honestly, I'm ok with creatures being bad at times as long as they get a chance at some point. But this one, being as iconic as it is, should have been great.
I think the kit is pretty good. I think people are just mad it's not up to the new standard of practically being a ludia approved exploit like most creatures they add these days.
Gryganyth is a great counter for it and can swap in and win. Trykovenator and Megalocevia are also good counters. Megalocevia requires a bit more turn 1 mind games.
Considering how mid glypto is as well i feel like the apex geo-locked hybrids are going to be sort of intermediate apex hybrids between things like arcto/anklos and skoonmet/draco
The problem is this creature came at a time where it's extremely hard to level, coming after Trykovenator lol. So, most players will most likely never work on it or even unlock. Unless they want it for its design.
If I'm forced with an option between Indochicyon and Trykovenator, I'm going Trykovenator. OE's like this will never work unless the opponent fears losing their current creature. This swap meta is not kind to On Escape damaging attacks.

His kit is very basic and lacks both defense and healing (healing 0) This dark nightmare must do justice to both its design and its component, the Indoraptor.
the kit slightly better version of old Indoraptor when first time released (when Indoraptor got Cloak instead of Evasive Stance). not really a must have unless you want nostalgia or really like Indoraptor very much
This apex was super interesting in concept and in terms of meta could of been a true terror but i like when they actually balance dinosaurs, anything tyrant tier are not something i will ever like since they just break the game with abilities that play the game for you by having 6 or 7 effects at once, anyway this dinos kit it was given makes zero sense to me, since it drops cautious and devious for just an awful strike that sure gaurantees crits but like... the strikes that are for meta creatures heal%/hatter/pierce, remove speedInc/dodge and distractistract, ignoring the terrible strike with the even worse 10% extra crit damage as the only reason for its existance, the impact becoming cunning dodge impact is really nice but it lacks the priority all the other dinos got for it, its rampage was just stolen from thylaconyx and has no use even against flocks cause all flocks use dodge which was thylaconyx's issue but at least thylaconyx destroys raids, this thing can't be used in any raid that would even want it, its cloak is solid but honestly has less then yseful purpise cause everything relavent will remove it ESPECIALLY cause it has priority meaning matchup wise you will always be worse off and its resistances are shockingly terrible, stun immunity and only 50% damage resistance being the only good noteworth really, finally the best part is by far the on escape, any on escape attack is the best in the game typically as it can gaurantee kills and if you have cloak setup on a important target that now has to either die to a hit or swap and eat/ die to an impact anyway it really makes the cloak alot better but you have only dodge as a tool to avoid damage and that isn't enough. This creature was litterally power crept a year and a half ago which it wouldn't of even been top tewr then....
Also btw for anyone wondering why speed resistances are bad it's cause they basically only benefit you if you can increase your speed and only if you resist it by minimum 75%, if your immune then it'sreally good
