That coffin safety bell actually showed up in a schoolyard horror book. The last one was really true. When I was a kid, there were rumors about kids being kidnapped to sell their organs. That's why, whenever we see a unknown van suddenly stopped near us, we would run like crazy back home. And several cases of it was on the news when I was in highschool (2009) in some cases the kids' bodies was returned to their families after a week, with an ample amount of money along with a note saying sorry. I will always remember the story of Elisa Lam because she was my great grandmother’s neighbor. Before she and Elisa died, I used to go there every so often, and occasionally saw an Asian woman leave or arrive at her home. And to learn a couple years later that she was found dead in a hotel tank is something that I will never let go of.
I remember in the office years ago this guy slept in the sleeping quarters and was found 3 days later, dead. His family came looking for him. Haven't been home for 3 days and can't be contacted. They watched the security footage and saw him enter the room and never left. People who came in the room and slept with him thought he was just asleep. Similar thing happened last year. Another guy went to the room to sleep. He went straight to the office after he went on a holiday with his other colleagues, afraid he might come to work late. Hours later his colleagues noticed that he's running late when all of them knew he should already be there. They went and look for him in the office and found him dead in the sleeping quarters.

I was at a Halloween park and there was a coffin ride. I went in a coffin and there was a hole in it. So all the water was in the closed coffin I was in. I couldn't open the coffin. I found the hole and blocked the water out until the ride was over
The hanging around Halloween time also happened at a farm in Michigan a few years ago (I heard about it because I live nearby and it was in the news). This teenager was scaring people at a haunted hayride and wanted to pretend to hang himself but accidentally did it for real.

Man, it seems like any Cecil Hotel is a hell haven. Every Cecil Hotel I've heard of has had murders or "mysterious" deaths happen in them. There's a Cecil Hotel in Canada, either Edmonton or Calgary. When my parents talked about it during the car ride I was so terrified. Every time we were in a Canadian town that looked just a little similar to where we'd been, I immediately became on edge.
The one about the body in a rug: My cousin was told he was getting his house cheap because they said an old woman was stabbed with scissors and her body was rolled up in a rug. But it was funny the walls were in an unfinished state and his two kids used to draw on them so I'm thinking someone lied to him.
The one about the woman hanging from a tree in Halloween reminded me of a real hanging that happened at the college I went to. A student hanged himself from a tree outside the library one afternoon during the Halloween season. He did it on a weekend when there was not much movement in campus so the body stayed there hanging for quite a while. People who walked past also thought it was just a prop until someone decided to investigate further. The branch of the tree he used to hang himself was cut down.
A man died in the bathroom in a movie theater in my hometown about eight or nine years ago. It was two or three days before his body was found, which made me seriously question the sanitation of that entire theater! My mom (at the time a federal epidemiologist) and brother (I think he was a senior in high school) saw a movie in that theater the day before the body was found. Worse yet, the theater wasn't shut down for a serious health violation! A sudden death can be caused by something highly contagious and can lead to a deadly pandemic. So yeah, that's a real thing.

My Uncle was in a coma at work on a Friday night and wasn't discovered until Monday morning. He was working as a draftsman in a foundry and the end of a sledge hammer flew off in the factory next door, flew through the window of the drafting room and hit him in the head.He survived and lived but died from complications from the incident many years later due to a left over blood clot in his brain.

#7 happened a few years ago in a park a few blocks away from my house. A 19-year-old hanged himself in the park shelter and when some kids found him they thought he was just a Halloween decoration.
Number 5 occurred in the Columbia River Gorge area in Oregon. Sheriff’s Deputies spotted a suspicious car parked oddly in a closed day use area. Long story short in the course of the investigation they found a murdered elderly woman rolled up in a carpet in the trunk. Number 2 actually happened to me. I was out hiking out of a long trek while slathered in bug repellent. A creepy crawly thing fell out of a tree and on the top of my ear. Not wanting to stand in bug repellent it immediately entered my ear canal and made itself at home. Fast forward several hours later in the ER. Doc can see it but wants to first consult with ENT on the phone as he is concerned attempts to remove it may cause more damage. Very nice nurse is cleaning the grime of several days off of the side of my face and outer ear. Apparently the removal of the bug repellent was enough to coax it out my ear canal. I hear the nurse gasp and take a step back. I never got a look at it before it got away, but she told me “remember that scene out of Alien?” Doc comes in a little after and seems disappointed. He takes a look and confirms “it’s all gone” except for some redness and irritation.
4:50 about these safe coffins, I once read this story about this cementery guard who heard one of the bells, and through the bell tube he calls to see if there's really someone there. When the person answers, stating their name and saying they're not dead, the guard starts pouring dirt on the tube saying that the tombstone says this person died like x years ago already and whatever is inside ain't getting out.

Once I got up I could feel something warmish in my ear to I went to the washroom to check it out and there was some dark brown thing just in there!! The body under the hotel room bed occurred in a crappy motel on Rt.40 in Rosedale, Maryland but I think it was later than 1984. I recall this happening in 1987, it turned out to be a woman who overdosed on heroin and was placed under the bed by her companions who were having a drug party in the room with her when she died. the body was found 3 days later when the new occupants complained about a foul odor coming from the bed. The autopsy proved the death was accidental and there is no law in Maryland that requires people to notify police of a person's death unless it is caused by homicide or suicide so nobody was charged with a crime.
To add to the silent dead creepiness, a woman died in a bathroom in an Oklahoma Walmart and they didn't realize it for 3 days. It actually happened very recently.
There was a case in Tokyo where a homeless man died of a heart attack and was not discovered for hours. The train he was riding moved from one station on a long route to another. Because he was homeless he reeked so no one wanted to sit by him. In another case a man died while hanging ping out in a sauna. He was lying on a bench with a towel covering him with earphones on. People who were in the sauna never bothered him, thinking he was just relaxing.
Something similar to number 10 happened on a Carnival cruise ship. He was a technician working on the elevator and for some reason, I don't know if a person pressed the button, the elevator started moving and he got crushed. His blood was just streaming down the front of the elevator doors. There are news stories and bystander footage uploaded on UA-cam of the bloody elevator doors. I can also vouch for the water one. Twice there has been very small amounts of pink or red liquid in the water, once from the faucet and another time from the shower. My family lives out of town and we have our own well and I think sometimes small animals die by the well. That's just my guess. I have no real idea what it is but we're OK so far.
During my stay in Singapore in 2011, an affluent housing complex in the north of the island complained about their water tasting funny. When maintenance men checked the complex's water they found the dead body of a woman. Apparently someone had killed a maid and dumped her body in the water tower. It happened around May or June 2011
The water one happened at an island I used to live on ( not naming it ). But the island was known for having a lot of tourist during the summer. And a family of three was murdered by a gang and the mother’s body was found a month or so after the rest of the family is a septic tank.
4:00 You can actually find info about this: A young teenage boy liked to pull pranks and scare his sister, so he were to do a prank where he stuck his head through a halloween noose prop. Problem? He accidentally hung himself. It was in his yard, with an active street next to it. His sister found him and ran to get their mom- even the mom told her at first it probably was a prank, but the sister insisted it was not, and the mom finally went outside to check (the sister had said "He has drool comming from his mouth"). It was already too late to save him though. The boy was only sixteen.
The death on a train did happen. I just read about a case of it yesterday. It was an overdose death. I have tried and failed to find the story again, but given the number of overdoses, etc, lately it isn't that shocking. Also, Aardsma wasn't dead in the library very long, just a couple minutes.
What y'all didn't mention about #10 is that there was a woman in the elevator when he got decapitated. She was stuck in the elevator with his severed head for a couple of hours. One of my brother's was one of the medics that responded. Said he can't imagine that she'll ever be "normal" again.
The first urban legend almost happen at my college when I was inside the elevator waiting for it to be closed and suddenly a woman sticks her whole arm through the small opening that was slowly closing. Fortunately the doors stop from closing and open itself again just to let this woman in. I thought I was going to experience a life or death situation with a shower of blood. That woman was crazy and lucky that she didn't lose a body part today.
Most elevators have mechanisms that stop the door from closing if something is in the way or pushes the door back while it closes. Only if it was malfunctioning would it close on someone's body part and then move up or down.
I had a spider crawl into my ear while I was asleep a few years ago. I could hear all eight legs crawling every time it moved. A similar fuzzing sound as when you get water in your ear. Already having arachnophobia, it nearly drove me insane until it decided to jump out and onto my lap while waiting at the hospital. Insomnia ever since :))))
I once went to an eye doctor and there was a poster on the wall showing a boy's face. The poster asked what was wrong with the child's eye. The answer: there was an ant crawling out of one of his eyes. After examination, doctors had found a small colony of ants nested in his nasal cavities that were using his tear ducts for entrance and exit. After I saw that poster I couldn't sleep for a week, scared ants would crawl into my nose.
1:15 actually- a Woman in china had this happend to her, she were about to go off the elevator when it suddenly fell (too many passengers) and pinned her upper body. People tried to get her free, but she was slowly crushed, and the elevator finally cut her body in half, disposing blood and her upper body remains over the passengers. UA-cam recommended a top 10 video to me and my dumb ass clicked on it... That video won't be forgotten easily and will probably follow me my whole life.

For reasons unknown, he'd gotten the idea in his head that adding the parts of white people to his corpse would ensure that Daddy had better luck in his next life. He was a taxi driver, and used his profession to lure in victims. He targeted a boy who had blue eyes, and was going to grab him, but fortunately his very-alert father grabbed him in time. I think what triggered the UnSub was the fact that Daddy was literally worked to death.

You don't have to worry about the elevator moving with the doors open as much in America. Other countries don't have the safety standards we do and tend to have more of these issues.

I heard that one day in the ER room, in they rush a biker dressed in a tight leather motorist outfit with helmet, unresponsive , vitals gone even after several attempts at resuscitation. While the doctor is doing his thing the nurse carefully takes off the helmet , then the head of the guy literally falls on the floor. The doctor says "Well...that is a problem", notifies time of death and goes on lunch break.
I heard of a guy in Hamburg travelling on the tube and not getting off. He went back and forth a few times until somone noticed he had actually died...

The hanging around Halloween time also happened at a farm in Michigan a few years ago (I heard about it because I live nearby and it was in the news). This teenager was scaring people at a haunted hayride and wanted to pretend to hang himself but accidentally did it for real.

Man, it seems like any Cecil Hotel is a hell haven. Every Cecil Hotel I've heard of has had murders or "mysterious" deaths happen in them. There's a Cecil Hotel in Canada, either Edmonton or Calgary. When my parents talked about it during the car ride I was so terrified. Every time we were in a Canadian town that looked just a little similar to where we'd been, I immediately became on edge.
The one about the body in a rug:
My cousin was told he was getting his house cheap because they said an old woman was stabbed with scissors and her body was rolled up in a rug.
But it was funny the walls were in an unfinished state and his two kids used to draw on them so I'm thinking someone lied to him.
The one about the woman hanging from a tree in Halloween reminded me of a real hanging that happened at the college I went to. A student hanged himself from a tree outside the library one afternoon during the Halloween season. He did it on a weekend when there was not much movement in campus so the body stayed there hanging for quite a while. People who walked past also thought it was just a prop until someone decided to investigate further. The branch of the tree he used to hang himself was cut down.
A man died in the bathroom in a movie theater in my hometown about eight or nine years ago. It was two or three days before his body was found, which made me seriously question the sanitation of that entire theater! My mom (at the time a federal epidemiologist) and brother (I think he was a senior in high school) saw a movie in that theater the day before the body was found. Worse yet, the theater wasn't shut down for a serious health violation! A sudden death can be caused by something highly contagious and can lead to a deadly pandemic. So yeah, that's a real thing.
#2 is my literal nightmare! My main issue is thinking a bug is going to crawl in my ear and either lay eggs or start eating my brain. I bought ear plugs as a precaution but then I was scared I wouldn't be able to hear if there was an intruder. So I sleep with a pillow over my head which is probably also dangerous but.. ya know 😂

My Uncle was in a coma at work on a Friday night and wasn't discovered until Monday morning.
He was working as a draftsman in a foundry and the end of a sledge hammer flew off in the factory next door, flew through the window of the drafting room and hit him in the head.He survived and lived but died from complications from the incident many years later due to a left over blood clot in his brain.

Number 5 occurred in the Columbia River Gorge area in Oregon. Sheriff’s Deputies spotted a suspicious car parked oddly in a closed day use area. Long story short in the course of the investigation they found a murdered elderly woman rolled up in a carpet in the trunk.
Number 2 actually happened to me. I was out hiking out of a long trek while slathered in bug repellent. A creepy crawly thing fell out of a tree and on the top of my ear. Not wanting to stand in bug repellent it immediately entered my ear canal and made itself at home. Fast forward several hours later in the ER. Doc can see it but wants to first consult with ENT on the phone as he is concerned attempts to remove it may cause more damage. Very nice nurse is cleaning the grime of several days off of the side of my face and outer ear. Apparently the removal of the bug repellent was enough to coax it out my ear canal. I hear the nurse gasp and take a step back. I never got a look at it before it got away, but she told me “remember that scene out of Alien?” Doc comes in a little after and seems disappointed. He takes a look and confirms “it’s all gone” except for some redness and irritation.
I could have gone my whole life without knowing #2. Thanks WatchMojo. :)
4:50 about these safe coffins, I once read this story about this cementery guard who heard one of the bells, and through the bell tube he calls to see if there's really someone there. When the person answers, stating their name and saying they're not dead, the guard starts pouring dirt on the tube saying that the tombstone says this person died like x years ago already and whatever is inside ain't getting out.
The bug one actually made me so uncomfortable! I remember once I was watching the Olympics with my brother & sister in-law and fell asleep for a bit. Once I got up I could feel something warmish in my ear to I went to the washroom to check it out and there was some dark brown thing just in there!!
I still have no clue if it was a bug or just a bunch of wax because while removing it it fell and I couldn't find it. I wanted to see it so I could know it wasn't a bug living in my ear.
The body under the hotel room bed occurred in a crappy motel on Rt.40 in Rosedale, Maryland but I think it was later than 1984. I recall this happening in 1987, it turned out to be a woman who overdosed on heroin and was placed under the bed by her companions who were having a drug party in the room with her when she died. the body was found 3 days later when the new occupants complained about a foul odor coming from the bed. The autopsy proved the death was accidental and there is no law in Maryland that requires people to notify police of a person's death unless it is caused by homicide or suicide so nobody was charged with a crime.

Because he was homeless he reeked so no one wanted to sit by him. In another case a man died while hanging ping out in a sauna. He was lying on a bench with a towel covering him with earphones on. People who were in the sauna never bothered him, thinking he was just relaxing.

Something similar to number 10 happened on a Carnival cruise ship. He was a technician working on the elevator and for some reason, I don't know if a person pressed the button, the elevator started moving and he got crushed. His blood was just streaming down the front of the elevator doors. There are news stories and bystander footage uploaded on UA-cam of the bloody elevator doors. I can also vouch for the water one. Twice there has been very small amounts of pink or red liquid in the water, once from the faucet and another time from the shower. My family lives out of town and we have our own well and I think sometimes small animals die by the well. That's just my guess. I have no real idea what it is but we're OK so far.

During my stay in Singapore in 2011, an affluent housing complex in the north of the island complained about their water tasting funny. When maintenance men checked the complex's water they found the dead body of a woman. Apparently someone had killed a maid and dumped her body in the water tower. It happened around May or June 2011

The water one happened at an island I used to live on ( not naming it ). But the island was known for having a lot of tourist during the summer. And a family of three was murdered by a gang and the mother’s body was found a month or so after the rest of the family is a septic tank.

It was already too late to save him though.

The death on a train did happen. I just read about a case of it yesterday. It was an overdose death. I have tried and failed to find the story again, but given the number of overdoses, etc, lately it isn't that shocking. Also, Aardsma wasn't dead in the library very long, just a couple minutes.

The first urban legend almost happen at my college when I was inside the elevator waiting for it to be closed and suddenly a woman sticks her whole arm through the small opening that was slowly closing. Fortunately the doors stop from closing and open itself again just to let this woman in. I thought I was going to experience a life or death situation with a shower of blood. That woman was crazy and lucky that she didn't lose a body part today.
Most elevators have mechanisms that stop the door from closing if something is in the way or pushes the door back while it closes. Only if it was malfunctioning would it close on someone's body part and then move up or down.

1:15 actually- a Woman in china had this happend to her, she were about to go off the elevator when it suddenly fell (too many passengers) and pinned her upper body. People tried to get her free, but she was slowly crushed, and the elevator finally cut her body in half, disposing blood and her upper body remains over the passengers.

The train thing is definitely real. I know a man who works for Queensland Rail (Australia) and he said it’s not uncommon to find people who have passed away while riding the train until the last train of the night when they go to wake them up.
You don't have to worry about the elevator moving with the doors open as much in America. Other countries don't have the safety standards we do and tend to have more of these issues.

The doctor says "Well...that is a problem", notifies time of death and goes on lunch break.
