Die 6. Segelflugmesse in Schwabmünchen fand bei Augsburg statt. Modellpilot.EU war am Wochenende auch der außergewöhnlichen Messe vor Ort und stellt Ihnen den Bericht mit zahlreichen Full-HD und 4K Videos vor. Auf ca. 10.000 m² Ausstellungsfläche präsentierten mehr als 60 Aussteller ihre Highlights und Neuheiten. Tobcon Engineering stellte ihre Klapptriebwerke und Nasenantriebe auf der Segelflugmesse vor. Verbaut in den Segelflugmodellen ASW 15 M 1:2 (50%), ASW 27 und ASG 29 M 1:2 (50%) aus dem Hause Tomahawk Aviation präsentierten die Piloten Sven Felbinger und Dominik Grebe die Antriebe. Vorgestellt wurden das KTW SKY HIGH 2 für Segler bis max. 20 kg und das KTW SKY HIGH 3 für Segler bis max. 25 kg. Der Nasenantrieb SKY HIGH 4, der für Segelflugmodelle bis 20 kg und Maßstab 1:3 und größer geeignet ist, wurde in Kombination mit einer ASG 29 gezeigt.

Alles tolle Modelle, aber den Nasenantrieb finde ich sehr Interessant, wenn auch aufwendig realisiert.
Love to see how the Sailplane with launch system in the nose, love to see how that system retracts into the nose and so on.

I'm not getting a response from the manufacturer in regards to questions about the installation of the Sky High 4 in a Baudis 1/3 scale ASW 22BL. I don't know if there is a language barrier or if they took a long holiday but I'd like to know if one has been installed in that airframe. I really, really want to put one in mine but am not going to risk the purchase without some kind of guarantee that it could be returned should it not fit, or pictures of it installed in the same airframe. The ASW is a little skinny up front.
