It seems sketchy that they would even bring up Cameron Boyce's death. You can clearly see how upset she is but she did a phenomenal job carrying on with the interview. But her wiping away the tear made me so sad that they put her through this. And, look, I understand it may not be the interviewer's decision, it's probably the producers who encouraged this line of questioning. But still, poor taste.
I don’t want to sound rude but they shouldn’t have asked her about Cam and furthermore they “asked” her three questions about him so... I just feel it was totally unnecessary, with a simple “sorry about your loss, we believe you have great memories with him and he will always be with us” that would’ve been more than enough. But this is just my opinion, I don’t mean to hate or be rude.
