Happy birthday David! He was the one that started my love of heavy music
I have such a specific memory for this song, even with having heard it and being a fan of this band for YEARS before. I was 22, in the Air Force, deployed to Saudi Arabia, working out, choosing to do so in the "shitty" gym that was really a big tent with some installed fans for ventilation, running on an old treadmill, staring at a laminated poster on good workout practices because the shitty gym didn't have any TVs. And there I was, chubby and awkward and undiagnosed for a whole heaping helping of nonsense coming my way, running myself ragged to this song. Thanks so much.
