Hello from California! I went down the Baja peninsula two time back in the LATE 70's before Cabo grew. I LOVE BAJA! I went to all your stops except Bahia de Los Angeles. Great video, thanks.
I just finished watching the entire video. Really enjoyed it Rick! What a great narrative you have and the touch of that beautiful latina soul, plus the places you visit I guess it provides the best possible combo! It was very nice to met you and host you in Pescadero at Baja Serena. I hope to see you again sometime. (There’s much to be found in Baja still eh!)
Nice trip. Baja is set up for tourists, motorcyclists and Baja racers. I didn't find the roads that bad. Watch out for those vados. The one just north of Peurtocitos is a killer if you don't see it. I've been to most of the same places by motorcycle.
It was such an unfortunate event and hurt all the community in the entire region. If you don’t feel safe, then you shouldn’t come. If you dare, then you can probably change your mind but you must have an open mind and energy to have a good experience and enjoy it. It will be the same if I dare to say -after knowing a few dum visitors, disrespectful and rude that all are the same and we would like to stop having them coming to Baja Mex. On the contrary, souls like Rick and Nikki are the reason of why we love to keep hosting and welcoming always.
Honestly, I feel safer in Baja than in most US cities. This was a horrible crime, yes. But it was also a rarity. The people down there are simply incredible, as is the culture. You of course my live life based on your own risk tolerance, but if you're basing your decision on media reports and fear-fanning, then I would ask you to re-consider. Truthfully, I worry more about large gatherings and cities in the states than I ever did in Baja.

High school drama, LOL!
Here after the surf murders. Can safely say I am NOT going to Baja or Mexico at all.

@@rickhiggins true, I also wouldn’t go camping in a remote area with no cell service while flexing my 2024 Chevy Colorado as an extra precaution lol
