    I bought one. It’s perfect for my use needs as a daily work bag. Great review, my load out it completely different, but that why it works so great for me.

    Thanks for the video! Still not sure whether it would be a good fit for me.
    I have a train commute and a 10 minute walk. If only the strap was padded more, it would be more tempting.

    I love slings but they have a big problem, riding motorbike or bending where its enemy. That's why when I test some slings, I get tired of moving back everytime. Such a nice piece of equipment.

    I was so excited for the eventual EG brief and it sucks this is what they came up with. Either way, great review Danny!

    Seems awkward and boxy. This size would have been better as a messanger and they should have done the briefcase in a 15L size instead.

    Hey I was very interested at the begging however in the absence of luggage pass strap, it does not qualify my requirement. I also have a CPL 24l. It also does not have it. So I struggle with international traveling...

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  3 місяці тому

      Thank you for watching! This does have a luggage pass through on the back, the pocket has a zipper on the bottom that opens and allows you to rest the bag on your luggage. I am sad that the CPLs do not have that tho

    I love Evergoods, but this seems like a swing-and-miss. Can't imagine the strap feels good with such an enormous bag.

    This bag seems to fit my need for work travel perfectly. I know exactly where I will put everything I normally carry in a backpack just by looking at it. As soon as Evergoods put these on sale I bought one. I look forward to my next trip so I can give it a try in real world travel.

    For me i would not use the shoulder strap at all. Brief is a brief. The shoulder bag is secondary

      Thank you for watching and fair point! With the handles on this one I’ve found myself using it more regularly as a brief

    What’s the size of the CPL in comparison? 4:37

      Surprised to see it’s actually wider than CPL24, on paper they are almost identical outside of thickness

    Think they missed a trick on the strap for this size of brief. Needs more padding

    Great video Danny. Do you think this can work as a 2 bag set up? CTB26 and this, or should I hope and wait for a TD20L? (Appreciate the sample travel pack out.)

      I use mine two bag style. This is my office, and the CTB26 is all my gear. For me it’s a perfect set up

    Evergoods makes super functional bags, they have expertise in figuring out the best materials and make quality bags. I strongly feel they should hire someone to help with design to make their products look more stylish maintaining the functionality and quality. This bag just looks like a box, similar to the pizza delivery guys carrying a pizza. I really like the internals but would not like to carry this, because how it looks.
    If its a pouch, all it needs is functionality and good material, as you will be putting it inside your bag. I love their CPL line up and own every pouch and 2 CPL 24s.

    Don't know why you say the handle doesn't have an aluminum stay unlike the CPL24. Even in the CPL24, the aluminum stay is not in the handle, but in the bag wall to which the handle is sewn in. This is so that the surface does not bag out when carried with the side handle. This bag too does have the aluminum stay in the wall to which the handles are sewn in.

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  4 місяці тому +1

      Thank you for watching and that’s a fair point! I’m not sure what the handles in the CPL have inside them but they are more rigid and the edges feel pretty sharp which is not the case with these which is the main difference I wanted to call out

    • @paraagshah4153
      @paraagshah4153 4 місяці тому

      @@dannypacks It is possible that the handles have that curve for them to meet at the center and are longer, and one is grabbing both handles together. Maybe that makes a difference in the feel. Otherwise, both seem to be constructed similarly.

    • @j.b.1903
      @j.b.1903 4 місяці тому +2

      Yeah, it’s not aluminum, but I got what Danny was saying. EG’s backpacks have something rigid in their longer side handles-I’d guess plastic along the lines of their frame sheets-that isn’t present in the handles of the TD35. The TD35’s handles have good structure but are also softer than the backpack side handles, and I’m gathering that these handles are the same way. I’m guessing this is a function of the fact that EG wants the side handles on the backpacks to stay straight and flat to the bag, while it’s preferable for the ones on the TD35 and this TB20 to stick out and be less rigid.
