please enlighten me what is "best" about it. honestly, it's all emotion fluff, extremely drawn out to the point of boring. Christmas is not about getting goosebumps.
I love this song, but I have heard far better renditions that don't overemphasize emotion and are better done.

I lost my lover, my best friend. Bone of my bones. Before he left me he said “it’s gonna be a long night for me” I played this song over and over again even at his memorial and over and over again as I explain to my kids that he is not coming back home. He is in Heaven, I cannot say anymore or less. Our 3 year old watches this song and say, they are singing in Heaven. I never felt so much love than when he was with us. It is well. The night is definitely silent but I know it’s Holy.
I forever wish I was born somewhere near australia to be attending Hillsong church. This is the Best rendition of Silent Night...Its amazing how its done... But the most breaking part is When Taya Joins up with the chorus from--Saviour King...--- Couldnt Hold my tears...

In my country Christmas is the time to meet up with family members you have not seen for a year(since January or even for ages) .....we celebrate Christ's birth by showing love to everyone and sharing with the needy.......stand with everyone whose hope was lost and remind them of Jesus unending love......
