Be careful going to the right of three rocks there is a big rick halfway between the rocks and the head. In the right conditions and tide u can get in trouble really fast. Great video.

Hey great video! Im waiting on my 22' Fishpro 170 to arrive this May. What poles and reels are you using length and weight wise if you dont mind sharing? Im putting my gear together and there's sooo much information its mind numbing. Think I have it 90% worked out though. Appreciate it and cant wait to get out there!

Thanks for watching and that's awesome that you've got a ski on the way. I really try to use shorter rods do the the limited room on a ski. I've found for bottom the ugly sticks have been great and I've used the same rod for tuna. But hard to find 6ft at 30 plus pounds heavy action. I use 40lb test braided line for everything but halibut. That I use 80lb braided. Hopefully that helps and there is alot of videos out for gear and trolling.

Oregon Jet Ski Fishing Thanks very much! Going with 6’6” Trevala MH Spinning with Spinfisher 4500-5500. Still looking at trolling setups. Would love to hook up with you guys once I get set if you’re ok with that. Either way is fine. Thanks again!

Came across these vids looking up some info on the Salmon River. Pretty cool stuff. Have you seen many ducks around the Salmon River area near the ocean?

Jeremy, your buddy fishes off a sea doo. Can you describe and contrast the difference better your 2 skis? I see you put collars on yours but he doesn’t have them, why? I want to buy one but can’t decide between Yamaha and sea doo. Does he have a UA-cam channel as well?

It's the hull design. My ski was very side tipsy. The seadoo is very stable. I made my ski into a fishing craft. The fishpro is a fishing craft. I hope that helps.

How did your ski perform in the choppy conditions? Did you have to tap into your extra fuel? I normally get 6-7 MPG with mine when I run about 24-28 MPH in calm conditions. I headed off shore one time in 1-3's, heading to a spot about 15 miles out. Conditions got worse as I went out and were a solid 2-4, with an occasional 5 thrown in. In the Gulf, that is a real close interval and it was hard to stay on plane. Consequently, since I could not stay on plane good, I sucked a ton of fuel. I ended up getting about 3-3.5 MPG and had to cut my trip short. I do not have my ski set up right now to be able to refuel on the water/offshore. I won't head out in those conditions again:-)

The ski handle great but it's because of those jet ski collars. I did add 5 gallons but when I got back to the dock it was at a half of a tank. So I probably didn't need it but I wont leave home with out it. Lol

5 in a 120qt cooler is not bad. Could of probably fit 7 that size. But we have a back up plan for bigger fish.
