The Bears did not go from the outhouse, last year they won seven games and lost three in the last 2 minutes of the game. Last year they whooped the Detroit Lions for 7 out of 8 quarters and lost to a couple of other high quality teams as well. Last year from Game 7 on they were the #1 ranked scoring defense in the league, from the Montez Sweat trade on they led the league in interceptions, and for the course of the entire season they were the #1 ranked rushing defense... that hardly qualifies as the poor house or the outhouse
Still tough to beat 1965 with Sayers and Butkus. But I am very excited as a Bears fan.
