Another awesome video and for those of us who live in colder climes (Sweden) keeping our spirits up and longing to do the same when the weather breaks (in our case approx 3-4 months:).
Hi Marc. Too different worlds- Australia to Sweden seasonal wise. Hot as toast here, but still bloody nice to get out exploring. Hope you get out and about in a few months mate 😎👍
After watching your video, the sun came out and we had 6 degrees plus, so I managed to get out on my little Red Rocket for an hour:) Praise the Lord! @@MidCoastAdventures
Have to admit I’m pretty jealous. Over here in Montana the weather has been pretty moderate this year but there’s a skiff of snow and the temp drops well below freezing every night and hits the high 30s F. during the afternoon. My Rally sits in the the garage looking as forlorn as I feel. Looking forward to an early spring and some greenery to view. Sure is beautiful down your way. Would be great to be riding along.😎
Wow Delbert! Totally different world to mate. Hot and dry here in Australia - which is kind of normal really. Anyway, hope spring comes early and you get out and enjoy life again on the Rally 😎👍
Good to see the need to get away from crowds isn't only my illness!! Awesome scenery once again Phil I going to explore up there one day looks to good not to have a look around up there. Cheers enjoyed the clip
I could feel the heat mate! Not the best river you've found, but good to get anywhere in the holidays. We spent Xmas at Thungutti, checked out the walk in camps further up - they are right on the Little Styx river, very nice, reckon you could just ride in there ;-) We had storms but found the great camp kitchen/hut with the pot belly so sat in there for dinner and drinks on the worst night. Xmas day I did the walk to Wright's lookout - not far but VERY steep, worth the views! All the best for 2024 Phil.
Ah good one David getting up to Thungutti! Would have been a tad cooler up there too. Yeah, that camp kitchen area is a ripper - love the potbelly stoves 😎 I guess I'll have to go back and check out Writes Lookout. Happy NYE mate, and many fun rides in 2024 😎👍
Cheers from central pennsylvania! We have a 6 week old starting him off right by watching your great channel, which is top notch! I'm hoping for him to have the same passion as us. Best wishes to you and your family in the new year. Don't change a thing on your content it's really good! Enjoy what you do my brother!! I know some kiwis, worked with them for a bit in the states here..love them guys! They seem tobe alittle soft in my book😂 Lol. Good to know there's lots of good people in the world. Have a good one!
Ah thanks Mike, appreciate the very kind words mate! The young fella will be off to a good start watching motorbike vidoes 😅👍 Glad you enjoy them mate, they're definitely fun to do and make. Hope you get out exploring soon. Cheers from Australia 😎👍
Nice one Phil, mate i watched this video Friday arvo and I live half way between Brisbane and the gold coast and iam telling you some of those water holes look very inviting, it's 5 o'clock at the moment and its still 33 degrees and I don't have a pool. Have air con inside but I would rather be outside. Thanks for the vid all the best .
Thanks Jason! Been a pretty hot start to summer hey! Those pools were looking good to me also/ The last spot was 35 degs so I had to jump in. Wet body armor is the way to go! Was near cold on the way home!
Nice one Phil very enjoyable! And I get how you feel about the influx of the crowds. Especially this time of year. We Are copping it out west here as well. Used to be able to burst around all day in the forests up here without seeing a soul. Even on the weekend. Now you are bound to run in to people every time. Stay safe mate!
Thanks PLC! Appreciate the kind words mate 👍 Probably my least favorite time of year- heat and tourist: a painful combination! Thankfully there's plenty of places to hide...lol
Love your vdeos mate you goto to some awesme places. Awesome swimming in cold freshwater streams, we went for a swim around The Promised land yesterday after walking to the two waterfalls at Dorrigo in 30degree heat lol so refreshing
Being from Chicago I'm careful tooling around on my rally with the gangsters and such predators but geez I always get antsy when you go in the water! City boys think there's crocodiles in all the water!
🤣 Mate, if there was crocs in there, I'd be high and dry on the bank. So all good, crocs live 1000 miles north of me 😎👍 Hope you are enjoying your Rally 😎
You certainly have a knack for finding all the great spots. I am not sure I would be brave enough to pass through those gates. Are they on private land or still public? Great video as always.
@@MidCoastAdventures And the fact that it joins up with Oakland Rd on the other side of the Macleay. I'd be interested to see if Oakland Rd is gated as well.
Pretty sure farmers took advantage of this closure a while back and fenced it off - As a result of the recent flood event residents wishing to access the Macleay River via Belgrave Falls Road at Aldavilla will be denied access as a result of significant erosion having taken place. Belgrave Falls Road was originally closed for equipment access required to construct the new Belgrave Falls water main crossing spanning the Macleay River in 2011. Subsequent flood events have resulted in increased bank erosion in this area leaving a significant danger for unrestricted access for vehicles in a dangerous manner. www.kempsey.nsw.gov.au/media-releases/2013/mr20130415.html
Very enjoyable watch from a cold and wet Ireland
Ah thanks Alan! Better weather to come mate 👍
Wow nice and green up your way dry as a bone around Bendigo and surrounds cheers Phil 👍
Yeah, nice and green after a bit rain the other week. Catch ya mate 👍

Nice ride mate, I ended up riding along the Macleay River also but I think a bit further west, west of Bellbrook,
Nice one, Joe! Pretty country out towards Georges Junction way and beyond 😎👍

Yes sir, got a ride in yesterday in the rain. Took a look at a dam. Washed up the bike today in the nice weather. 👍
Good to see you out and about! The weather here hasn't been the greatest for it... Maybe I should move towards your neck of the woods... 🙂
Thanks Petros! She's been warm (hot) and pretty dry up here mate. Still better than cold and rain, but a little draining. Catch ya 😎👍

Hey Phil, what microphone set up do you have on the GoPro chin mount please mate?
Hi Hammy, it's a DJI digital wireless mic (1TX + 1RX) You can buy a DJI model with two mics. Cheers mate
Thanks mate. Glad you’re enjoying riding. Looking forward to getting back on mine.
All the lights in Kempsey? LOL don't come to Coffs for the next 5 weeks.
I was thinking the same thing LOL
Coffs is crazy now, went through a day or two back- hot nightmare!
That fence down to Belgrave Falls looks temporary like it's not really supposed to be there. Another farmer trying to keep people off a public road.
Yep, I'd say so. Considering it was public access a few years back, and an actual road back in the day.
