The story behind this popped in my head: The girl in the picture is the mom of the song. She was raised in strict and old schooled home, so she felt like breaking rules and started to hang out with wrong people. One night, when she was about 17, she got raped. She didn´t told her parents until they started to realize with the physical change of her body. Her dad couldn´t believe it, but wanted to still support her, but her mom.... She lost it. After a long and frustrating argument, her mom decided to throw her out. 7 months pregnant, she lived a while in the streets, begging and stealing money and food. One night, she was going around the streets. The clock was 4 am or something, she didn´t actually care, she hadn't´t slept good in a while anyway. Then she felt it. The baby was coming out. She knew she couldn´t get to the hospital at time, so she limped to the nearest bar and asked for help. Finally in her life she got it, and the barista, an old woman, helped her bring the little boy to this world. The girl wanted to give back the help, so he started working there, the longest turn. They got a little apartment, and lived there for while. Years went by, and the boy turned six. It was one of those nights, when his mother worked past the midnight. It wasn´t that hard to be alone, he had food in fridge and everything. Suddenly, he heard an knock on the door, but didn´t open, because mom has told him not to. So he waited and waited, but the knocker didn´t go away. He was scared, and decided to hide under the table. There he sat like an hour, or so it felt, trying not to breath too loudly. Suddenly he heard the door click. He stood up happily, thinking that mom had came home. That was when the bullet hit his head. The man screamed in horror. He started to panic, he wasn´t suppose to kill the boy, he was suppose to kill mom! And why? The man was actually named Joseph, a close friend of the dead boys mom, and she had been borrowed money from him in the past, never giving it back. After a while, Joseph got sick of that, and started to plan the murder. He had no idea that the girl he knew, decided to actually raise her son. While Joseph was thinking how he could get away from the apartment, the door clicked again. - Hi honey I´m- The girls sentence died in the middle as she saw her dead son. She started screaming and ran to hug his son. - No no no no please no.... She cried out. Then she finally looked at Joseph. - You did this, she said silently in dead voice. Joseph nodded. -Why...Why? WHY!? She started screaming and jumped forward, trying to hit the man. Joseph succeed to dodge the hit, but he dropped his gun. The girl snatched it before he realized it. Then she shot him trough the head. To this day, no one knows where she is, but she has killed numerous people. She is called the "Rockabye murder", because everytime she enters your home, you can hear a silent hum: "Oh rockabye, baby don´t you cry, you will sleep forever now on.." I've read through your story, and I absolutely love it! It takes a dark twist at the end; pure gold right there! You should definitely be a writer at least as a hobby. Suffering. They welcomed each other's warm embrace. They knew they were meant for each other. A 20-year-old woman with a struggling music career and a confused 5-year-old girl who's only friends remaining are bugs. They seem like they might not go together very well, but they have one thing in common. A common enemy. They want to find out who caused them this suffering. This is a story I wrote. I actually think it's neat.
