Chapter 1 of fortnite felt like a dream, just a nonstop rewind of such amazing things that made the game one of the best games that we didn’t even think about. Every time I would see og fortnite it would always remind me of why I kept playing it and still am. The past seasons have been okay, but I feel like any new season or new chapter that will come out will be the same like the rest that have been coming out. They don’t get me hyped like what og fortnite did. Epic games can never bring back og fortnite, a lot of people that still have the guts to play this game like me or streamer that are getting paid are getting better and better. If we had the old map back we would have the same gameplay like these recent chapters, just with og weapons and map. I’m not saying they should not bring the old map back, but people want the map so bad but really they are going to just be the same way of how they always been. New fortnite will never change it will probably die super fast later in the future or it’s going to become a sweat zone game, where more people that are trying to get better become even better of what they would even think could be impossible, because new mechanics and setting changes can change so much to the game. Idk you guys can hate me for my opinion, but it’s true. This game was ultimately the best game of all time in my books, but it didn’t last long. People that haven’t even played og fortnite don’t understand how good of a game it was. I do think epic games is trying harder and harder then what it used to be, for the game, and it went downhill. If Og fortnite came back I would want to have all the og things back and have a no build like how it kinda was. I don’t hate building but it gives the nostalgia of what it used to be and would be better then fighting a person that is like Bugah and is cracked. And I’m not saying this to dis on the sweats or anything. I just have been seeing this for the past 2 years in solos and I’ve became to dislike the battle royale mode and always do creative. I honestly don’t think anyone knows how fortnite can come back to become what it used to be.
A good Idea that epic can do to bring back OG players back, is a setting where u can use old Graphics like, Chapter 1 (the best option), Chapter 2 , and Chapter 3.

@24Degrees max chapter 3 graphics remind me of that, storm looks menacing and all the details they put in the vegetation make it look way less bland than ch2, they did a great job imo
Wouldn't play it even if I could. I quit fortnite at around season 5 and played a bit around 6-8 because it became such a fast paced game and the skill gap being so unbelievable it became like a totally different game. I remember as a teenager in 2017 I stayed up till 3am having the time of my life while grinding fortnite with the boys until my mom woke up and I had to shut down the computer. Those are such fond memories which I would never wanna throw away. Your heart beating 160bpm at top 10, rocket riding, making awesome plays and winning first game ever. Fortnite made the hardest times of my life enjoyable and I don't want to ever forget or overwrite them.
The problem with this is that now you just have all the sweats in old fortnite so it wouldn’t be as fun. They would need to remove turbo building and nerf edits
It may look like OG Fortnite, but it won't feel like OG Fortnite now that it's been infected with huge build fights. If everyone acted like a fresh, new player, then maybe it'd feel more like it. That's just my opinion though.
Now I'm rly crying cuz I don't have a pc if I did I wud be downloading this rn still gonna join the server so that in a couple of years if and when fortnite ends we can go back and relive the good times
