Roxana Brivent-Barnes well than any opinions on which simple paper trimmers are best? Because I hate my gray FISKARS paper trimmer. All plastic with the orange blade, the extending arm... you may know the type. It's one of the cheaper ones. But mine for some reason ends up cutting *crooked* if you can believe it (slightly bowed sometimes. the cut is rarely *actually* straight. I don't get it). So either I don't know how to use it correctly, or it just sucks LOL Mine sometimes has a problem going through *one* sheet that is thick much less 2. (sigh) I just hate it. but they are handy for smaller projects at times rather than going to my big heavy duty guillotine
ibkristykat Our new Stampin' Trimmer is the best in my opinion. I love how it does not wiggle when you are cutting and the numbers do not wear off. There are so many amazing features to this cutter. If you have any other questions, let me know. deb www.stamplaee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs
Deb Valder I was definitely noticing the sturdiness that's for sure. I do notice slop in my Fiskars trimmer if I press too hard, but if I don't press hard enough it jams the edge of the paper *or* doesn't cut all the way through (and that's when it goes wonky sometimes .... other times it goes wonky/crooked if I press *too hard*). It's really hard to figure out. I'm going to plan on saving up for a better trimmer, possibly Stampin' Up brand. :) they really do look less chinsy (sp?) than the ones I see in stores but I should probably price compare to be fair/honest. :/ hm. Thanks!
ibkristykat I think if you try the Stampin' Trimmer made by Stampin' Up! you would be completely happy! The others are wavy. deb If you have any other questions, let me know. deb www.stamplaee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs

Well, I made a couple of these but had trouble keeping the elastic I had around them. I don't have the pretty lace elastic like you have but love the idea, do you have another idea of how I can close them without that pretty lace elastic???

I have been going through youtube videos getting ideas for a fund raiser we are doing at church. I think this is a marvelous idea! We are raising money for Women At Risk (WAR) and supporting the people trying to stop human trafficking. So, thank you so much for this idea. What do you think these should sell for at a fund-raiser? I love the idea of putting the chocolate in there too. I think people will tend to buy smaller items, so I want to make quite a few.
Oh Carol, what a great cause. This would be a great project for that. I would charge at least $2.00. That will still give you a good profit. Thank you for your comment. Please stop by often.
ibkristykat -I have a Dahle A3 professional, but I need to buy an A4 one as the A3 is to big and heavy, unfortunately A4 is expensive too, heavy but perfect!
