What I love the most about this is they didn't try to be something they are not. They danced with the person who brought them to the dance. Evolved yes....but stayed the same! Love this band so much. The Kintsugi Kid is so great!!

I won tickets to see them in Nashville last week (03/31). Almost didn't go because I couldn't find anyone to go with. Went alone, glad I went, it was amaaaazing! I actually hadn't kept up with FOB for a while; didn't even know they had a new album out. It's now one of my favorites and can't stop listening to it and wouldn't have even know about it if I didn't go see them.

I used to listen to FOB during my teenage years. It's 2023, I'm 30 and they release a new, great album. My son turns 3 next month - imagine my surprise when I found out that Patrick sings all of the songs in my son's favourite series, Spidey and His Amazing Friends by DIsney.

I love this album! I guess I'm in the minority that adores Mania, but either way I like this direction their taking. These songs are very relatable to me
Mania is a fine album in a vacuum, but there are definitely some vocal fans who dislike it due to wanting FOB to go back to the style of their earlier albums. It's the typical "no like when band do new thing" mentality.
What? I actually love Mania. I didn't know people hated that album. Really love Church

@@kittens247 it was so much fun, and i'm still not over it 🥺 hearing heaven iowa (favorite fob song) live as well as their 2013-2015 hits, several ioh songs, and you're crashing but you're no wave as our magic 8 ball song has changed me as a person. all the bands were in costume for the halloween occasion and pete indulged us by throwing out stuff when he said "KNOCK KNOCK?!" and we said "TRICK OR TREAT!!!" -- not to mention the incredible stage design 🧡 if you have a chance to see them on this tour, DO IT

Take This to Your Grave is sooooo good and so underrated, Kraoke King. As far as lyrics it's helped me to see them in writing and then they make more sense.
I also watched a lot of YT videos of Pete explaining some of them which helped immensely.
For Thriller "the car crash hearts" refer to FOB because they crashed their van when just starting out and "fix me in 45" is the amount of time Pete would spend at therapy. Take This to the Grave was a lot of Pete's angst about a girlfriend at that time.
Also, you can find some interpertations just by searching online. For this album he and Andy go track by track and explain some of the songs a little in a YT video. Maybe Spanish subtitles might help too?
