Expectations minus reality equals disappointment. We should have all learned to expect nothing long ago. If we do end up getting anything, we should consider ourselves incredibly fortunate.
do you know if persistent Hangars will be based off Pledge ships or ingame bough ships. I.e if I pledge a Titan, and I bought a C2 before the Hangar patch. what will the Hangar be based and sized off?

They announced this in 2021 to be released in Q1 2022 and that was the personalized hangars not the instanced ones. They're over 2 years late. This is who CIG is. Year after year this happens and y'all will still lose your shit at CitizenCon 2024 about stuff they tell you is coming in 2025 that will miss their targets and then when I constructively criticize CIG you'll defend them like the good guard dogs you are while Chris keeps dining at Michelin Star restaurants.

I'm curious if they are going to let us log in and out of hangar beds since logging out in a ship in-hangar won't work. My hope is that we get to use that hangar flair and it can include that dumb cot we had as a log out point. And we kind of have a little office/bedroom like the old hangar module to put it all in.

If the choice is just between Cutlass (40m), constellation (70m), Caterpillar (111m) and Reclaimer and larger (above 150m), the hangar issue would be limited and possibly only involving new players upgrading from their original pledge. Since I assume they would have a limited amount of hangar items it can be solved somehow. If instead it involves more then 3-4 hangar sizes, with many ships not even in game yet, this hangar stuff could become a BIG mess.

Been a backer since February 2013. I have been taking a lot of time away from SC. It has not progressed well from where I feel it should be by now. I did log in a few times recently trying to engage in the overdrive event but I had difficulty getting the missions as well as performance problems and 30k issues. I suppose I need to walk away and play other games that actually work. It’s bummer I could not do the overdrive event but I value my time more than wasting it on a buggy mess.
Good stuff. The people breaking down about the delay for something tied to so many different systems would be the same people who freaked out when 3.18 broke the database. If CIG released the hangars where the entire game broke, we would never hear the end of it from those people.
I'm done with this game. I knew it was too good to be true, they never worked on these features, they will never release them. They always make up an excuse as to why these things can't release and then we keep waiting 10+ more years for them. CIG keeps making fake videos of them that look like gameplay but they're not. I'm tired of this vicious cycle of overhyping patches and never releasing the content. We always get nothing but a new ship and events instead, never any actual content put into the game.
