Vanilla Ninja is an Estonian female pop/rock group founded in 2002 with Lenna Kuurmaa, Piret Järvis, Maarja Kivi and Katrin Siska. After their first international smash album '‘Traces of sadness“ which got gold and platinum status in many countries Maarja Kivi left the band and Triinu Kivilaan joined the group.

When my daughter came to me feeling lovesick for the first time, because her partner was - well a Liar - to cheer her up I played this song to her, sang it with her and of course screamed Liar - for my daughter this was a quite helpful song for those kind of feelings. Now she's a Vanilla Ninja fan just as I am and 'Liar' among her favorite songs, because the world looks a bit brighter and lighter after screaming out all the stress and sometimes pain
Music is a great vent to let out emotions...I remember yelling with them in this song too after I got seriously betrayed by a friend...It is such a big relief...

"Liar" is still one of my alltime favorite songs by Vanilla Ninja. I really wish that Vanilla Ninja will make their next album more Pop-Rock again, as their style was back in their album "Traces Of Sadness". I really miss their cheeky rock influense in their Pop-Rock. I got to know and love Vanilla Ninja through exactly this music video on Viva back in summer of 2004.
Oh, still love this song! Brings back so many memories. Vanilla Ninja was such a amazing band!

I wish they would make this kind of music videos more, where everybody in the band has their part to sing, for me this was their prime time , Maarja,Lenna,Piret and Katrin
And Triinu. Vanilla Ninja was reactivated year ago. Girls have 2 new songs: "Gotta get it right" & "No Regrets".
@@jedrzej2011 jep horrible,...Triinu cant sing at all Maarja should have returmed but whatever only she and Lenna had great average vocals just listened Nightwish with Tarja and I am sooo sorry but I hate their lineup Piret Katrin and Triinu should not be in the band and with years. I have also different taste I listen mostly metal and and Maarja Kivi - eternal friend is more my style
@@katj2800 Maarja lives in the states now but was not informed about the back together of the band, but she is def the strongest singer of the group, she took part in many singing competitions as a child. Piret wrote/co wrote some of VN songs, so she isn't 'only' singing and playing guitar. But to know more about who the members are and why they joined the band you should read about their band history!

Encore is a cd full of anthems. I miss Maaria in there, really want her to come back there and making Vanilla Ninja second Spice girls (because 5 girls)

Кайф, ностальгии по той музыке нет предела, уже добавил себе в пару подборок. Как понимаю по тому факту, что клип выложили в феврале, произошла реинкарнация группы. Что же, буду следить 👍

Не знаю я этот клип в 2005 у однкласницы ещё на vhs 📼 смотрел потом забыл и спустя столько лет вот только снова его нашел))) они реально кайфовые сейчас такого уже нет
Я их слушаю с 2004 года, когда они представляли Эстонию на Евровидении. А не слышал ты о них, потому что их менеджмент вообще не занимался их раскруткой в России.

A quand la rénovation des anciens clips en version HD ? super content de leurs retours ! J'adore leurs nouvel album version Deluxe (j'écoute en boucle!) ! un peu déçu quand même par la version Extented du titre ENCORE alors que j'adore la version courte ! j'en reviens pas que ce groupe a 20 ans , et que je suis depuis environ 19 ans (merci UA-cam !) j'espère qu'un DVD ou BLUE-RAY sortira avec l'intégral des clips !

@@HK-gm8pe yes, it was horrible and i do not really understand why they called her back. She went away from the band because of creative diffenences if i remember correctly. She is a good looking lady but she can not sing at all. Having Maarja back would of felt differently in so many good ways.
