The 'stare at your own car' is a really important bit of working in the garage! 😂
Agreed 😁
Ya gotta sit and stare even if you just did brakes lol
It's a requirement. I stare at it thinking about things I should be doing... 😂 Luckily I recently got a 06 Charger Hemi RT that needs nothing so far so I can just stare at it and plan upgrades or just because.
@@Jay-en3mu I'll sit in Walmart's parking lot and look back as I'm walking away just to see mine. LOL
That’s my favorite part actually
"I keep that thang on me" hahahah
coop is always keepin it saucy
11:15 Hey Coop - DENATURED ALCOHOL
That's what we used when I was doing vinyl car wraps.
a notable lack of bartle skeet in that fridge
Coop survives off of Bang Energy Exclusively
I wouldn't use an impact on these lug nuts, I'd spin them on by hand and use a torque wrench......
So would any other mechanic.
I Agree, He is also going to need longer wheel studs, they do not protrude through the nut.
you can impact them on just not tight, then torque wrench
"Just go on forums and talk about it" !!! ROTFLMAO!!!
Cooper, the king of The Pastafarians.
Hail to The Flying Spaghetti Sauce MONSTER.
The wheels with the bead locks kinda matches the look on the wing with all the bolts
Throw a tennis ball or something on that antenna...just for that strong trailer park life!!
And an aerodynamically bent antenna... 😄
Sick wheels..I dig that they don't look like your normal style beadlock.
I died when Cooper said “unless someone tries me”
Soooo funny
Fresh Turbski ..new wing ..bead lock 275s ..and badges . Now time to run some low 7s
Wow, I'm digging the beadlocks. Those look awesome, I had no idea those existed
Coop get some plastic razor blades, great for removing decals and will help clean up the extra silicone on the wing panel.
That’s so nice of her to humor you. And you can tell she kinda listens. I’m impressed again
You two are such a great couple. Always laughing together and having fun
@1:19 peep the mystery machine in the background
Looks like they might be working on it👍
@@6181green They're moving the radiator from behind the driver seat. Until this isn't done, no stunts with the mystery machine.
@@demattebe I'm glad they still have it alot of people were saying they sold it
@@demattebe thank God man, I've been begging him to fix that since the beginning.. 1 it's dangerous and 2 it looks shit with the door open all the time 🤣
@@Matty.Hill_87 after the accident at cleetus and cars, they saw how dangerous it is. These are life lessons.
Coop, love you over here... but boy do I miss you over at Garrett’s channel with you behind the camera. I miss your classic one liner zings!
Hey Cooper, the new badges are worth at least 10 horse torques and the wheels will 2 tenths in your 60ft. Guaranteed! Happy New Year to you and Bronte, Henry and the doggos. Keep it saucy man!
Cooper, doesn't the NHRA rulebook say your wheelstuds have to protrude through your lugnuts at least 1/2"? I don't know how it is now, but that's what it used to be. Don't get caught by a little technicality in tech, some guys are real persnickety.
Always good when Bronte stops by, y’all chemistry is so much fun. Can’t wait to see it rip!! The badges, I mean C’mon!!! 2 sweet!
Hoarder or ocd in a good way. Cooper is one in a million. So glad your this side of the camera now and Bronties the new camera-woman
thats pretty slick how the beadlock ring matches the spokes and design instead of looking like a completely different part of the rim
He’s going to wear that knee brace for the rest of his life.
Man need some milk and some PT
Really embracing the old man life style at a young age
On a serious note, really consider getting some KT Tape for that knee
Y’all gotta chill. That sent me
Well duh.....he IS a CTS V owner....
Only makes sense. It's like a part of the uniform.
Got a tea for each hand.
Wont be no crap talked in Mr Bogetti's shop.
How prophetic! I had recently asked if they were slipping a couple videos back! Extra Grip!!!!
Dude !!!!! what beautiful wheels with the locker ... The camaro is coming around ! that wing makes the awesome ..
dang cooper staying strapped at the shop!
At the start of the vid I was a little sad to see the old wheels go, until I seen those new ones man those are badass glad you went with the same design.
How do you open your trunk with that trim piece glued in?
Trailer Park Supra lol I don’t think that I caught that any other time before that’s hilarious
It's 1320s thumbnail title for this car
Hey coop, you can use standard rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) to take sharpie off for future reference, it basically melts the sharpie the same way acetone does but you have a lot lower risk of wrecking something. I use it in aviation a lot for metal work
Nice Cooper the rims are sweet and now running a Toyota style lug nut to match the engine 🇺🇸
I like the way the pup noped out. When asked if it wanted to help. LOL 😂
Glad you like the badges mate, I'm pretty sure they're good for an extra 10hp a side 👌
I learned a trick with sharpies if you write back over the sharpie with another sharpie and wipe or rub it off while it's still wet you can get sharpie off, depending on the material.
Look at the Nhra rule book about how much wheel stud needs to come out of the lug nut. A 5/8” wheel stud is more appropriate for a 7 second car.
loving the new wheels!!!!! question thought, arent you supposed to have longer studs that stick out past the lug nut or is that just when running slicks?
Yes he's supposed to have longer studs.. but it's cooper we are talking about..
(There's no power running threw there or anything like that lol ) Great way to teach her coop
You'll want to keep an eye on the lug holes in those wheels, watch for small spider cracks radiating outwards, might want to consider getting some steel inserts pressed in.
You should still be able to find some matching 12 point cone lugs to satisfy your aesthetics!
Great information on the lugnuts! Thanks
Coop i tried finding a link to the guy that made the badges but couldnt find “ Custom Automobile Badges” anywhere, can you put a link in the description for us?
Haha good old coop didn't quite get the name right it's Badge it Custom Emblems and Decals.
@@badgeitcustomemblemsdecals7472 pretty uncool of you to steal the poor guys already crappy name.................
just kidding 😂
Yup that’s the best way to make sure those lugs are spec. If you can’t turn them with ur fingers they are mint🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️ awesome look CB 🇨🇦
Bronty knows her stuff. Surprised me when she explained the purpose of having beadlock
Should have put a tape line around where you're gonna put the window weld. Then take your finger and smooth it out and pull the tape. It will leave a nice line!
Hey coop, God Bless you, your family, and America!!! LOVE the CTS-Vs and the Camaro!! Keep on making awesome videos!!
Each touch makes the car look better, nice job man!
Your lady is sweet! She such a supporter.
Nice new safe wheels and lug nuts. Badge looks great too!
Love the new bead locks but noticed those garden beds have been sitting empty for a few weeks now.
Looking good Coop, but I still think you should spring for a wrap on the Camaro.
Wheels look awesome 👌 They will forsure do the deed!
I hope you take the Camaro to Rocky Mountain Race Week. And if so you can use the old rims for street tires and the new ones for race tires
i wanna see some racing:) get the car back together soon !
The badges for sure add some horsepower.
You need mag-shank lugs in the Front as well. Especially if you pull the front wheels and slam the front end back down.
Lug nuts are less likely to shear off if you don't overtighten them with an impact wrench.
If you know what you're doing, it's just fine. I do it almost every day.
@@deciplesteve It just made me laugh "Lug nuts have been known to shear off". Half an hour later *totally ignores manufacturer's torque setting* lesson not learned.
Nitto extreme drag radial NT555R are good for the street I run 275 60 15 on my chevelle, 510HP at the tires and they stick pretty well. good street manors especially in the rain, FYI compared to Mickey Thompson s street radials the nittos run a little smaller in the same size so you'd have plenty of room
Hell yeah. Those new badges are sweet.! I'd say they are worth at least another 30 - 40 horsepower..! 👍
Hay coop when using window glue i use kerosene to wipe away excess and tidy up job for me it works well
Those new badges would be bad ass if they were back lit! It’s too bad you can’t find someone to make THOSE for you!!
Just an idea on the intake magnet. Spray paint it a fluorescent color so its more noticeable. That way you dont forget to take it off.
It’s the trailer park Supra, the sketchy sharpie logos fit perfectly.
At 3:12, yeah, I'd say going with some kinda 15" would be wise ;-) Sounds like our man needs a Nitto hookup.
To fix the glue bead around that rear windshield filler panel, google Run Razor Shaving Tool. I think it will work perfectly to remove the excess glue.
Heck yeah! Everything matches so nicely!
with some inks you can go over top of it with dry erase marker and it will make it where both will be able to just wipe off easily
That really made the wheels look awesome
I still think the retro badges look better, but I'm kinda biased. lol
Same here. But the other ones are nice too.
@@michaelblacktree They are nice too, but I made the retro ones, so I’m a little biased. lol
Nice. 👍
I’m glad you kept the same style wheels, those things look good on that car
I have used expo markers to get sharpie off before. I know it sounds weird but the expo takes the sharpie off and then the expo comes off easier
Really nice badges, wheels, and lug nuts!
80- 100 visual horsepower added today! Looking freakin slick though.
Do you plan on marking the new wheels and tires to see if they spin on the wheels still?
With that wing I feel like an SS hood would look good. Plus you could route the turbo intake to the scoop
“Just incase someone breaks in “🤣🤣🤣
I will ask again, now you have glued the filler panel to the trunk and the rear screen does the trunk open?
The 2JZ28 logos should be on that car even though I realize it was originally a V6 car
Take a dry erase marker and color over the sharpie and then wipe it off. It works on a marker board.
Dam coop the more I see the car the more I picture it with a good paint job or even a nice looking wrap.......Even if you do leave that big pipes exit give it some love cosmetic wise
Hey cooper new fan!!! Loving the Camaro the wheels look great!!! I was wondering if you still had the Tahoe if so you should put your twin turbos on it and have Mitchell Stapleton do the fab work!! I was watching one Of his videos explaining how he met you all!! Keep up the dope videos and keep it saucy with lots of red sauce!!
Dog totally dissed coop. So funny.
Use a dry erase marker on the sharpie, it'll wipe right off.
Milwaukee sharpie comes off if you look at it sideways. Garbage haha
Oooohhhhh snap!... Coop rollin with them THANG THANGs... Gotta have em nowadays
What happened to the 2JZ/28 Badges? :(
I wonder what's going to break first now that it's on bead locks
If you are going to do Rockie mountain race week those hwy tires will be handy
10:20 Now that's what I call shop security.
Anybody else that wouldve wanted to see billet specialties on the camaro?😝
Cooper "im using a normal chrome socket because i dont have a impact socket"
Car people watching -"damn son overdue it"🤣🤣
Bronti - "what does that mean?" Hahaha
Love it. Always good laughs and good fun on this channel.
Been using chrome sockets for 32 years, have never broken one using it with an impact.
@@RichRusso4218 haha how many ft-lbs have you gone up to with it haha. I have had them explode after a lot of use.
@@3ddrew691 been used on a lot of impacts, 1300ft/lbs and have put them with some reducers on a 1” impact. Broke a lot of the reduced but no sockets.
@@RichRusso4218 damn, well you are lucky, i have broke so many of all sizes. That's also why i have a variety of impact sockets now Haha
Next time when you're applying silicone or other filler such as on the rear wing, put down a line of masking tape each side of the gap, fill it, then smooth over with a wet finger. Remove tape and you've go a clean finish.
Yep! I just did that, with a sunroof delete panel in my BMW. Worked great.
It's those little things that make it stand out, if for no one but yourself.
Looks brighter in your shop!!
Time for longer studs !
If you ever need to smooth a bead of non water base silicone or caulking you can give it a light spray of goof off after squeezing it out
Are there center caps for the bead locks? Car's looking good though Cooper!
Off Insect Repellant does a great job of removing Sharpie scrawlings.
Heck yea im happy you kept the wheel design
Razor blade around.the wind shield you glued down would peel off the extra that squeezed out
I love that she called you out on your glue job 🤣
