After I demo'd the 2023 Head Prestige Pro, watched your racquet review for that, and demo'd it again........I bought it. Fantastic racquet! In stock form!
I put Yonex Poly Fire (18 gauge) in it at 52 lbs. Plays amazing! Arguably plays just as good as my customized Wilson Pro Staff 97 v13.
I will try a gut/poly hybrid set-up in it, next.

Glad to hear you love your new Prestige. Gut Poly would probably play amazing in the Prestige Pro

This is why I'm surprised you didn't switch to the YONEX Percept 100D, it checks every box that you are looking for in a racquet

I really enjoyed hitting groundstrokes with the Percept 100D but that racket is too soft and muted for my liking.

so do you generally string your 18x20 at lower tensions to increase speed / power ? i did gut 60 and alu power at 57 .. felt like i had to hit the ball hard to get some great shots.

I usually string 18x20 around 50lbs which is about 2 lbs lower than I string 16x19. But it also depends on the string

Have you tried the Tecnifibre T-Fight ISO 305? It sounds like you might really like it.

I can't find that racket anywhere but I would love to try a tecnifibre racket since I've never tried one yet.
